I know there's been topics on people's favourite/most wanted courses, but has there been any plan to put a proper Touge "tight lane" course in GT5, and race InitialD Touge fashion with increase/reducing gaps (I know wide roads on mountains can be classified as Touge, but its the tight lanes I like).

Eiger Norwand is OK, but its hardly a tight lane Touge that punishes even the smallest of mistakes, giving seriously close racing and tight tarmac rally-type stages like this...

I'm surprised they haven't done it yet with the amount of times they feature touge battles on the Japanese Best Motoring programs?

I can't help thinking its something missing from the series. Anyone else think the same?

That drifting would be awesome in GT5 on such a tight course, but very difficult to say the least!

Imagine driving GT5P's Ferrari F430 down such a tight Touge:

or how about a 911t, m6 or Aston:

And if you think the new GTR (R35) would be fastest along such a circuit, think again, here's the full 40 minute video from late 2007, GTR v Rwd tuned cars, the only "320bhp" J Racing S2000 excells against cars twice as powerful....

I personally think a car like the Caterham R500 would be quickest on such a course in the dry, here in the UK an R500 beat a Gallardo 4wd LP-560 at Millbrook (road test course) by 6 seconds (similar performance to the GTR) and the latest EvoX FQ360 by more than 7 seconds - a huge gap on a 1.40sec road course.

It would be perfect if GT5 has Touge racing! That will makes the game more funny! Hope see Gunsai Touge or some touge in full GT5! and hope see more rally tracks like Eiger.
Anyway, Eiger it's amazing! For me, it's the best original track ever in a Gran Turismo.

Gunsai is spectacular, especially for any Best Motoring fan. Hope they will include it someday, and being that its in Japan, shouldn't be to difficult for them.

I was playing my old copy of Grid last night and driving the Pro Touge mountain courses. Its OK, especially if you get your settings right and use the G25, but as we all know, its still arcade handling, and Gran Turismo would do it so much better with its physics, replays and graphics. Its also a proper road course, not like the Gunsai lane course featured in the above videos.

Lotus designs will almost always prevail except in high speed tests and courses like Le Mans.
