Should have done better tonight.. Made a mistake In Race 1 which cost me 2nd and don't know what happend in race 3 but I spun and was last again.

Looking forward to next week as the races were cleaner than I thought it was going to be 👍

Clean enough, I think everyone did a good job avoiding too much contact. 👍

But the track is still :yuck:

A little bit of accidental nudges were bound to happen. I'm just looking through and sorting "accidents" from intentional blocking, bumping, or attempts to spin.

Also, a lot of divebombing going on - including even me. That was bound to happen, but mainly because it's very hard to pass here. I apologized and gave the spot back to Sakery, at least.

Shame on you, my pictures didn't warn you enough? :P

That's not at all where the divebombing was happening. There was just a whole bunch of small bumps. It was just the normal "I'll stick my nose in- chopped" rather than "Hello, my name is Carbonox. KILL EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!"

Also, I've no idea how to overtake at Suzuka, seems impossible, unless someone crashes out.

Basically, you get a draft run down the front straight and let the other person decide whether they want to give up the position or crash in turn 1. Two good drivers will be able to keep on the track and sort it out braking for turn 2, however.

Suzuka East is probably the toughest track for overtaking in these cars.

It was difficult but you need some patience and little different driving line to pass someone or use drafting.
It's very tricky. Jammy, you're adding to that "iceman" reputation, being able to pass at Suzuka. That's crazy!

In season 1 there was a race where I went from, I believe, 12th to 3rd by turn 1. :sly:

Even though it was actually illegal to pass before turn 1 that season.

Blah blah blah Lancer, always cheating...

Are you joining Run Group B tomorrow, and putting your money where your mouth is?

That crash is so awkward... Also, I don't know where you got that idea, to try to pass not one - but two - cars in T1 of Suzuka.

That's something I've yet to see - at all - in ITCC 3. 👍 to our clean drivers. :)

I think I went three wide in T1 at some point. And what's that about me in the Signature? :dopey:

Oh that was such a lucky lap! I had it hooked in Sector 1/Turn 1, I was up by like 0.150 or something, the middle sector was my weakness.

:embarrassed: I know, gokartman was so slow in Sector 1, I was up on him there too. But, then, the middle sector...

Do you have nitrous, gokartman? :grumpy:

I'm taking a break. I can't go on like this in my current state :(

I need to sort out my severe confidence problems and my personality problems. I'm pretty much a mess :banghead:

This includes a break from racing. Until I'm at top form again I won't be coming back.

I've been through it before Sparky, if you ever want to talk just let me know 👍

Hope to see you back on track soon!

Sounds like it was good fun today, to bad I wasn't there, just caught a couple of fish while eating pizza with family, I love life

BMW is so slow on the straights, I was struggling to close up to people with draft. It makes it up in the corners though.

Who is actully racing tonight?

If the races start at 8 tonight what time do they roughly finish?

9pm for us, will finish same as last night..about 2 hours roughly 👍

Run-Group A: Round 4 at Suzuka Circuit East, Friday Oct. 4th, 21:30 GMT + 1 (BST)

Run-Group B: Round 1 at Suzuka Circuit East, Saturday Oct. 5th, 20:00 GMT+1 (BST)

says here 8pm bst, last nights time was right.

Many variables contribute to the race day length. Abandoned starts, length of start procedures (getting lined up etc.) And many other similar things can slow down/speed up the process.

If people want the 15 minute intermission shortened to 10 minutes, that's possible.

Anyways, I've got a bunch of photos/videos to work on now. :)
