People who choose not to race don't get points. People who give an honest effort to join, and are restricted by internet do get points. It's not their fault.

It's the same as people who start a race and have a mechanical malfunction; their points are scored based on the distance they actually traveled in the race.

In my series you got half last place + 1 points for attempting to make the room and not being able to. I'm one of the nicer ones.

Well, let's conduct democracy:

Everyone, post your preference! *except Lancer and Driverman, they'll say that disconnects are worth a 10,000 consolation points bonus*

In all seriousness, I don't think we, myself especially, seeing as I didn't make it in the room, deserve full points. A small number would be nice since I tried to, though.

...That's the point, to almost "apologize" for your ISP's incompetence and console you. But, the consolation prize is not 10,000 points.

Attempt to join= Last place points. Thnk of it like this:
You enter the grid, and before the race starts, your engine quits, IRL you still get points. I think of your internet in GT as an engine. I have had really crappy engines this season lol.

IRL is not in all series. For example, in Grand Am you must complete 30 minutes to score points.

Fair enough. But I meant In Real Life. And in many touring series, showing up on raceday gets you points. Plus these races hardly hit 30min

Calm down, guys, it's okay. However, nas, this series is modelled after WTCC. If you know about WTCC, only the top 10 finishers get points. A lot of people are quite lucky that we don't use real life points. 👍 Thus, I consider real life points irrelevant.

I try - honestly I do - to find ways that I can compare people from all talent levels with points...

For example, the independents championship was meant to be something for the non-alien fast guys. The Rising Star championship is for anyone below the age of 18 to improve their talent and racecraft.

It's entirely fair and even championships, I promise. But, onwards with the democratic-ness.

having fun in the sisters LFA, sparky wouldn't approve of the colour :sly:

Sorry spark, she wanted it, and it was a good photo, head on to the wall at 300ks, and then you might get a good bounce and pop a mono :sly:

Hey guys, sorry about the double post but this might be a bit long. As daylight savings has just begun, we are now a hour ahead of where we were last week in eastern Australia, so will this effect me time wise, and I hope it doesn't make it earlier for me, as I'm already at 6.30, even though I could try to miss qualy, anyway someone smart please figure this out for me, I'm not good with times, but good with everything else, any ways on a slightly more related topic, best lap 2.03.3 at 5% dampness at monza, I'm loving the setup nas, goodbye all and good testing :) :)

I'm pretty sure the race will be 7:30am for you now if it was 6:30am. My mate from Sydney is now 10 hours ahead, instead of 9. So if it was midnight here it was 9am there. Now if it's midnight here it's 10am there.

Thanks Paul, we'll just make sure of that... But I believe that you're right.

He gained an hour, so it would be 5:30am I would think.... Set your alrm early, friend lol.

Spring forward, fall back. Australia's going into spring... So, they're leaping forward, I believe. Can an Australian/New Zealander (Kiwi :P) please confirm?

*taps mic* Is this where I introduce myself? OK.

Hi, I'm Tatiana with Team Voodoo Racing, and I'm here to win. You're welcome.

*drops mic and walks off stage, hair blowing in the wind*
