Fine. Anyways, I'm linking the two seasons together, sort of...

ITCC 3's finale will be the first night race in ITCC history (outside of Special Stage Route 5/Clubman Stage Route 5...) Meaning that ITCC 4's night racing will be well-tested and so on.

So, the Nürb 24hr circuit races will be a tribute to the first three ITCC seasons, an invitation to the fourth season, and - most of all - a test for what's to come.

@Gedi69, @buck1, @adam46, @Siggers, @GTracer98, @Turbo_snail, @Dano20, @gokartman, @polarbear345, @cnd01 and @Johnnypenso, would you be interested in this tribute to ITCC?

You're all vital/important to ITCC. You're a fun group of guys, with whom I'm - normally - happy to race with. Sure, I have to look things over after a few races, but normally it's just accidents... Like when I didn't even see Caine at Indianapolis. Oops. A simple apology, and we were racing again.

@KingSakery, I know you broke your thumb, but I just want you to know that you'll be missed at that 24h event. :(

Yes, yes, guys, I know I'm having a moment - nostalgia - but this has been the best season yet, and with only two weeks left, has been my favourite... I've won less and spun more, but the racing's been better, closer, and harder (Jammy, I can't beat you! I think that's why you'll probably win this championship) than any previous season.

Let's just keep it clean, no one wants penalties in the last two rounds...

So, keep signing up, we'll race as clean as possible (I think we can handle it) and everyone will have a fun tribute to GT5/ITCC 1/2/3.

I'll see you on-track on the 22nd and 29th (well, except Blake, Jammy and Ciro - 23rd and 30th... :P)

What the tribute, is it the last round?

Yes. Otherwise, it's Nov. 29th, for a simple clarification. It will be my last race in GT5, and many other people's last race too. So, we're sending it off with the biggest - most spectacular - ITCC race in GT5.

Thanks but no thanks. Not a fan of racing tires on street cars nor entering a points championship for the first time in the final race of the year where everyone has their season on the line. One error in judgment on my part and I could ruin someone's entire season:banghead: which isn't really fair to those that made the effort to be here all along. Best of luck to everyone involved.

Fair enough, just know that it's your choice, and that you'll be welcome back in GT6/ITCC 4. :)

When is the tribute ? If its this Friday then no I can't make it.

I am pretty sure I won't be able to attend this Fridays race either, so it will have to be another drop round for me. I don't know what my schedule is like for the following Friday, so I will have to let you know closer to the time - will attend if I can but can't be sure yet.

@ITCC_Andrew My hand is broken but not my thumb (it was after the first medical examination but it was false luckily).
Anyway I would have loved to compete a last time on GT5 with you guys but due to above reason and my PS3 absence till 20th December I can´t.
I will race again on GT6 for sure and hopefully I am competitive again :D
Nordschleife is my favourite track and I´m pretty consitant normally so I would have had a great race.
Hope you enjoy it and have a clean, tough race 👍

@KingSakery, you might make it to ITCC 4 Rd. 1, actually! :)

@Turbo_snail, all of my good tracks (Trial Mountain, Madrid, etc.) Are gone passed. I just have to survive Laguna Seca and capitalize on my return at Nürburgring 24h (another good track for me, I believe.)

Of course, I have no idea about lap times for either circuit, so I could be wrong...

I was intending to race tonight, I adore Laguna, but there are some unexpected visitors at the house right now so it seems doubtful. I'll try and make it.

That's good because its tomorrow! I hope you can make it mate 👍

Oh right? :dunce: I'm in my own little world this week. Regardless, visitors until Sunday, that makes my chances a little marginal... :guilty:

I did some testing Laguna and my laps times are round 1:33 - best under and worst up.
I've just had my first attempt at Laguna, made a guess at my ratios and got it pretty much spot on first time I think! Anyway, 4 timed laps in and a best of 1'32.473.

I think I can get into the 31's with a little more practice, but not tonight. Will save it for tomorrow.

-------

Edit:

Scratch that, just made a few minor tweaks, and done 3 more timed laps. The third lap gave me a 1'31.908, don't think there's a lot more than that left out there though, maybe a tenth or two.

I have, as normal, not had time for testing. Crap.

Anyways, it's race day! I'll see you all in about 10 hours! :) good luck with the guests, Adam... With such a tight championship, that would seriously suck.

Another great track coming up! 👍 Laguna Seca is one of my favourites in terms of flow, hopefully I can get some good positions. ;)

I have had a change of schedule so I might be able to make the race tonight after all, providing I don't have connection issues again
