It's not going to be knock-out qualifying as such. It's going to be two splits.

If 18 people join, 9 in fast room, 9 in slow room, always room for more people. If 32 people join, 16 in fast room, 16 in slow room...

No one gets "kicked-out". Everyone finishes the same number of races. Only difference is that the second group get half-points.

Ok :).

Okay, I'm going to make a full announcement of GT6 and ITCC's relation to each other.

ITCC Season 4 will be on GT6.

The car list will include the Focus ST, and any other FF/FR touring type cars added in GT6. The track list will include: Silverstone, Matterhorn, Brands Hatch and Apricot Hill. Removed from the track list will be: Daytona, and/or Indy.

That's all the info for GT6/ITCC 4, that's currently available. Sorry, we need further info before we finalize anything further.

I believe we will run the "National layout" of Silverstone, and the "GP" layout of Brands Hatch. The Matterhorn layout is not currently known. Apricot Hill will use the forwards layout with time/weather change possible.

Edit: the Matterhorn layout will not be the one used in the Pagani Huayra gameplay video.

I would say open a 2nd lobby if we get more than 20 entries.
16 fully 4 reserves.

After that there could be a 2nd lobby but only if we get 10+ in lobby two
=> 26 entries overall minimum (4 reserves plus the other 6)
They get a decent raceday and if Lobby1 has space we get full race for sure 👍

If under 26 I would say first come first serve and drop to the 20 entries (16 and 4).
You can´t just say yes to everybody. Enough is enough ... (won´t quote SLJ ;)) at a given number ;)

BTW: Tire wear off right ?

Apricot hill

Uhhhh, YES! :D

Tire wear on normal, we've only got 16 confirmed full-timers, no reserves yet. Maybe I'm making a big deal out of something that I don't have to, but oh well.

is there still space for me

Of course, you were like the fourth person to register.

Apparently more of the tracks from GT5 will get Time and Weather Changes

I'm hoping for High Speed Ring at night, and SSR 5 in the daytime

I'm hoping they scrap all version of those silly circuits, Madrid reverse at night, now that warms the cockles!

Bring back some of the other Street circuits!

Any version of Bathurst would be great!

I liked SSR5 in GT3 and GT4 but GT5 ruined the epic atmosphere of the track :(.

It seemed to be the only track not to get updated throughout its life on
GT, thus ruining it, the complete opposite of grand valley, which got updated and ruined with them, it was a tremendous touring car circuit in its first evolution, now its just a lifeless piece of fantasy, thus bringing us to the most awful street circuit, Tokyo R246! why? do they feel we need to be subject to such punishment,

i will run the bmw is i can get 2 secs out of it
i cant decide on a team name though
its either foot canal racing or somerset health insurance Team (don't abbreviate the last option)

sorry for double posting but i enjoy i real enjoy tokyo i've only raced in gt300 and up though so it not as bad

If this is another Pre-season race then I'll just train privately again :).

Dave, you long-beaked cardinal, don't make fun of preseason round #3! I'll end your championship hopes! *flattens tire*

I quite like Tokyo and Grand Valley. Grand Valley will be in Season IV, and Tokyo.

Okay, guys, we're still getting interest from even more players. :D happily, it seems, we're set to almost always have full lobbies.

RESHIRAM5, don't you dare skip ITCC preseason for "lonely" practice. Naw, dude, come join the mayhem! It's fun! And, you get to see more from the long-beaked cardinal himself.

So, join the flipping lobby then!

Well, okay, it doesn't flip, but oh well.

With just over 12 hours until the next preseason test for Season 3, I'd like to once more mention Season IV.

Season 4/IV will be on GT6. This is 100% confirmed. This means that we'll have Apricot Hill, which can be run as a night race or a day race. Who would like to see that round as a night race?

Also, if a livery editor does pan out, as unlikely as it seems, I will expect everyone to bring "good-hearted" liveries to ITCC4.

And, to remind everyone once again: The next preseason session is in just over 12 hours! The time of posting here is approximately 4 AM. This means 12 hours from now, it will be 4 PM. It works the same for every timezone! :D Just change the AM for PM, or PM for AM.

... Yeah, no. No you don't.

The purpose of preseason is to ensure that everyone's ready for the actual season. The fewer people there are who don't have any clue about how the series runs, the better. That's why preseason is there.

It gives everyone a chance to practice their starts, practice the race format, and generally get better accustomed to it.

The purpose of preseason is not so that you can "fly solo" because you don't feel like joining a lobby. The data will be invaluable.

Exactly, I'm not attending Pre-season. I'm going solo and training by myself for this because I don't any data yet and I need to practice alone because I can only do good when people are around with me and we have a battle, need to be good when alone.

MrM, I have to ask, what would you have written in my driver bio if I had had time to race? :mischievous:

With Tire-wear on you definately have to do something with the specs.
AWD are at the moment the fastest cars and AWD has definately best wear of tires !!

FWD run through tires like a hot knife through butter.
And that although we have very short races but roughly 10laps (plus a few if track is under 5km and other way around).

Please think about this either preseason or after R1 thx
