11: ITCC Rising Star Championship

11.1: -One Driver from each country, who is below the age of 18, may battle for the ITCC Rising Star Championship.
11.2: -Entrants to ITCC Rising Star are considered on a "first-to-come, first-to-race" basis.
11.3: -The scoring for ITCC Rising Star Championship is run via average points per round at the end of the season.
11.4: -Penalties will be given closer attention to, with these drivers, as this is part of their GTP Learning Curve.
11.5: -The purpose of ITCC Rising Star Championship is to continually strive to assist young drivers in becoming GTP's fastest racing drivers.

It's true, I'm adding another championship to the series; for all of you who are young drivers on their way to becoming one of GTP's fastest racing drivers, I'm providing a little bit more incentive to fight hard for average points; every position will count, every battle, every penalty. Welcome to the world of racing, gentlemen (and perhaps women??)


Oh, and I've updated the OP with a bunch more Driver Bios, and updated some.

By the way, I say the magazine should include a tribute to the fallen soldier of ITCC; his name's SpeedyOLLY. He's in a better place now. That first race, first lap, first turn lag spike... He's gone. He'll be sorely missed.

It goes way back, to the WMA days. It's from before your time, don't worry.


ITCC was seen as one of the pinnacle series of the WMA, a sanctioning body I helped to organize. The FIAT Cup (never really took off) was called the "WMA FIAT RISING STAR TROPHY." [/capitalletters]




But, since the WMA (my poor WMA, poor baby) lost its leadership with Nizmo's resignation, I feel like I can revive the idea of a Rising Star Trophy, but without using FIATs to run it.

Race 2 update: Looks epic in replay. Sorry, jammy, you were too far away, you weren't in many of the shots.


The independents teams looked feisty in that race, both the white BMWs (what were you doing in a BMW, sig?) and Pokémon Team X.
