By the way, I don't get holidays at all this season. I go to school every day, Monday-Friday, until December 13th. Then... Winter term schedule change.

If enough of [the invited drivers] display interest (i.e., 5) we'll have 24 drivers total, meaning any possible combination of Friday and Saturday races.



Specific details:

Team registration closes at 16:29 EDT (20:30 GMT-0) Friday Aug. 20th
Teams do not have to run the same run group. One team member can run on Fridays, the other team member can run on Saturdays.
The Saturday run groups will be at 16:30 EDT, 20:30 GMT-0, until the timezone changes
After the timezone changes, it will be 21:30 GMT-0, 16:30 EST
Mazda, Volvo, Ford teams slots full; no new Mazda/Volvo/Ford teams available
SEAT and BMW teams slots available
Slots open in all manufacturers for most teams
Maximum 2 drivers per team, 2 teams per manufacturer, 4 drivers per car.

This will affect you, too.


Team Registration closes at 16:29 EDT (20:30 GMT-0) Friday Aug. 20th.


That's when Round 2 starts. The teams will be locked in, after that. No new teams may be created after that. Not even for BMW, nor SEAT. This will encourage people to fill the existing team's slots, rather than create a team that will only have one driver; it unbalances the points system, slightly.

I've officially decided: If we reach 24 registered drivers, we'll have Group A on Fridays, (majority) and Group B on Saturdays.


We're holding at 19 registered drivers right now. If we get 24, I'll allow the second Group (B) to run on Saturdays.


People can choose which day they'll run on. I expect that Group A will be slightly larger, since that's the day that people have signed up for.



And, for eager beavers: if you disconnect from a race on Friday, I'll allow you to "make up" the points on Saturday.

Do your best. Minimize the points damage. You'll probably do better at Trial Mountain.
