Help , how do I make my tyres bigger?

It won't be the size of the tyre(s) it will be tyre type & compound specific to that event. Have a look at what tyre(s) it says you need then go to the tuning store & buy them.
Just make sure you are in the car you're going to use for the event when you buy the tyres.
So everyone can't buy whatever they want at any time n the tuning shop, you do realise that?

You're trying to enter a Murciélago Road Car with ~700pp into a race for Gr.4 race cars with a maximum of 630pp.
The game literally tells you what's wrong with your car, what's so hard to understand in that regard? Or do you also bring a gun to a fist fight?
I don't appear to own any Race Cars.... you thought i just like to buy Race Cars and not use them? How and when am i able to buy 'race cars'?

We were all new once.

If you have clicked on each part, there is a button to learn more. "Rupert" will explain the purpose of some parts and what they do. if you don't want to read about the parts and just want to click and buy and hope for the best, start with tyres.

Go to a race, at least, look at the four cars at the bottom of the screen. If you have one of those cars, go to Change Car and pick one of those four cars.

Next, if the regulations specify, read what tyres are required.

Check the Car Settings. Look at the top of the screen and see what tyres are already fitted to your car. If you don't have the required tyres, go to the Tuning Shop and buy those tyres.

Honestly, if you can't be bothered(not having a dig at you, seriously) to read the help options, stick with reading the regulations and choose the cars suggested by either the Menu book or the cars shown in the pre-race screen. You'll get an understanding of which cars you'll need to use and what parts are required.
Thanks, I haven't 'earned' any Race Cars yet, I only have access to Road Cars.

If you mean the group 4 races that are available from the beginning, don't do them yet.
Continue to proceed with the Cafe menus and the races they require. That way you will make progress and unlock all the required dealers etc.

The game sort of teaches you how to use it, or at least it guides you a little bit by means of the cafe menus. Like timekiller001, I'd recommend completing them (or at least a big part of them) first. In the process, you'll also unlock access to more tuning parts from the tuning shop.

I dont really understand, but by the screenshots you posted earlier there are a few things to explain:
1. there are restrictions on most of the events, most common is a PP limit to set a certain expected balance between the cars.
On your first screenshot you can see that the event has a limit of 550PP and your currently selected car has 663, so you are not allowed to use it with the current setup.
You can go to the tuning shop (once unlocked by doing the Menu Books) and purchase balast, power limiter and adjustable ECU to make the car heavier or reduce engine performance and by that reducing PP.
Some races also require you to have certain tyres which also affect your PP value.

2. on your second screenshot, you are using a car that does not belong to the racing categorie you want to participate in, which is Gr.4 racing cars. Your car selected is a road car. You can see these categories in the garage.

Within these parameters you are allowed to drive every car that fits.

Firstly, if we could all stop being gratuitously offensive and start being a little more helpful, that'd be great.

Secondly, @jett234 I'm going to give you the same advice I gave you in March:

Follow the yellow compass icon. It will always be on the menu sections that you need to go to next.
Both of the screenshots you've provided in this thread show, in the top-left corner, the instruction to go to "Championship: High Speed Ring Track Day", which tells me you have started Menu Book 4 - but not yet finished it. That means Brand Central is not unlocked, so you cannot buy cars. If some of the helpful people who weren't being helpful had noticed that, they might have been a little less eager to not be helpful...

The Tuning Shop (the building at the bottom of the World Map with a gear/spanner icon which says "Tuning Shop" on it when you move the cursor over it) opens at Menu Book 3, so you will have access to it, however you can only unlock higher level parts if you increase your Collector Level (by buying and winning cars; you get one Collector point per 1,000 credits value of any car you buy or win).

But right now you don't need it at all. Go to World Circuits and look at the bottom of the main screen there for "Championship: High Speed Ring Track Day" (it will be the only thing at the bottom of the main screen).

As for your other issues, the game is telling you that your car is not suitable for the race you have chosen. You need a Gr.4 race car for a Gr.4 race car race. You need a car with 550PP (performance points or less) for a 550PP race. A 600PP+ Lamborghini Murcielago is neither of those things.

It's also not possible to make tyres "bigger". You can buy softer and harder tyres, which have more grip (soft) or more endurance (hard), and some events will limit how soft/hard you can go with your tyres.

Here's how you unlock everything in GT7:

Thanks, yes tonight I went "Championship: High Speed Ring Track Day", won those races and unlocked Brand Central and bought some new cars and 2 new Japanese circuits are unlocked, thanks for that. Guess i have along way to go before i can buy something other than road cars.

Not really, no.

All three dealerships stock both types of cars, road and race. It's just a matter of having enough money and unlocking the dealers.

Used Cars obviously opens very early, but you won't see the full 30-car list or its proper rotation until you finish Menu Book 39. There's a good chance you won't see a race car until then, and there's only a couple that appear there anyway.
Brand Central, for cars from 2001 and newer, opens when you complete Menu Book 4. The race cars are mostly 350,000cr or more, but they are at least always there.
Legend Cars, for very rare and collectible cars, opens when you complete Menu Book 17, but almost everything in it is millions of credits.

Thanks for that, the top left corner now says "Tune a classic car" and the yellow guiding-icon is on the Tuning Shop. In this new menu in the Cafe I was told to race the Sunday Cups in Europe with my mini cooper. The problem is, yes I can take the mini cooper to the Tuning Shop and buy lots of random items but do these items automatically upgrade my Mini Cooper? When I take my Mini Cooper to the Garage it says I dont have any parts, I don't get it. I go to Settings in The Garage and it will not let me adjust anything let alone or add the items I am buying in the Tuning Shop.

If you are in your Mini then the parts in the tuning shop will all be for that car and they will be applied as soon as you buy them.

It sounds like you were in another car when you bought the parts.

Well I just bought more parts, if I am not mistaken I can now accelerate faster in the Mini. How do I complete this level, do i have to buy all the parts I can to be able to win the Cups?

Thanks.

The game tells you what PP is recommended for average players, follow that or get it even higher to be sure.

But you also have the difficulty option in the settings, so it's all up to you.

Every GT Cafe Menu Book tells you precisely what you need to do to complete it. If you are confused, go back to the GT Cafe, select the current Menu Book, and click on the Information button.

Menu Book 6's instruction is "Tune a 1965 Mini Cooper S to 360PP or more". When you have reached 360PP, you will complete the book.

I just did it tonight thanks, played more races and then bought some Sports tyres for the Mini and that unlocked a new Menu in Cafe.

Tonight I managed to keep on buying parts in the Tuning Shop until in increased my acceleration and overall control of the Mini Cooper in the UK circuit, managed to make it to 3rd and acquired a new Yellow Mini car of higher PP. Thanks to everyone for helping a newbie, i'm getting the hang of this tuning/upgrade/adjustment business now.
