I'm thinking that's actually Charles Wallace's (is it Wallace? The old dying guy from Season One) power. Especially seeing as how he could converse with Peter in his dreams.

I think you mean Simone Deveaux's dad (Charles Deveaux?).

But Peter saw what happened to Nathan the day he graduated as a male nurse, and by that time he still hadn't met Simone's father (unless he met him that day). You can see that in the episode called 'Six Months Ago'.

There, that's the name.

It's possible that he'd been exposed to him already, as a child.

And remember: when Peter was starting out, his powers would only manifest when he was near the person with the same power... most of his dreams occurred when he was with Charles.

I finally watched the last couple of episodes. I liked episode 10 better than episode 11 but it was a good finale for volume 2 nonetheless.

So, any news of when Volume 3 starts?

Season 2 Starts on Thursday for us, can't wait!:), the trailers look awesome:tup: and I can't wait to find out what happens next, shame they're wont be as many episodes as Season 1 though.

So, any news of when Volume 3 starts?

I was listening to an interview with Milo Ventimiglia(Peter Petrelli) this morning and he said that the filming for Season 3 starts next Thursday, so I should think it will be on soon.

Hope this is helpful:tup:

Didnt they say this series was going to be a 'Sylar-fest'?

I can't quite remember, but judging from what happened at the end of season 2 im saying yes, I don't think we'll ever get rid of him;).

On the Subject of villains:

Ive heard there are going to be some surprising new 'baddies' this season.

Those of us in the US should plan for a long evening.

Looking at the TV schedule for tonight here is the layout:

8:00-9:00 PM ET - Countdown to the season opener. A red carpet show and rehash of last season.
9:00-11:00 PM ET - Season 3 Ep 1.

I would just tune in for the episode but it has been so long that I need the rehash of last season.

I'd watch a rehash of 1... 2? What's there to know except that Sylar kills the mirage-girl and hooks up with Bloody Mary... Peter gets his memory back and Hiro defeats his hero and idol and buries him six feet under (literally). Oh, and there's something about a mutation-destroying virus that (*yawn*) never seems as scary as it should be and gets vaporized in the last episode... oh, and Ali Larter looks like she dies, but doesn't, and our most significant new hero is a girl who learns Kung Fu from her iPod.

Well... it wasn't all that bad for the first few eps, but Season Two's ending left such a bad taste in my mouth, I doubt I'd want to watch it again.

Season 3 should kick ass... or I'll buy a ticket to Hollywood and go do some kicking myself.

Well, it was an interesting episode. Although, I believe I saw two possible futures. The question is, which one comes true?

It looks like once again we will be having multiple storylines. I just hope we can keep them all related.

I read the Heroes page on wikipedia and Tim Kiring says if you watch the show you will see its not at all like the X-Men. I thought that was funny. Anyway pretty good episodes. It looks Mohinder may become a "Beast" like charcter. Is it me or does Niki's multiple personalities with different powers remind anybody of Legion? Or Angela Petrelli's powers bring to mind Destiny? Is Sylar really a Petrelli? What do you guys think?

Anyone know any sites that allows you to watch the latest Heroes Episodes? as NBC doesn't allow Canadian users to watch it from NBC.com

That sucks. Is Heroes aired later than here in the US?

Not trying to rub it in, but we can watch any past Heroes episode in HD from their website. ;)

Its that time again:)

For all of you who didn't know Heroes is back on Monday(21st) in the USA with a two-hour season premiere at 8/7c on NBC(1?).
Sadly for everywhere else its going to be a few months before we see Season 4 on our screens.:((Ive heard it could possibly be January time when it comes to the UK)

Until then, here is a 5 minute sneek peak taken from this years comic con to whet your appetite.[WARNING: SPOILERS]

Hmmmmm... I don't really know if I want to watch this season. I really don't know why I watched last season, to be honest.

I'll give it one more shot. I'll watch the two hour episode. But, if it's just as stupid as any of the previous season's episodes, I'll take it off my DVR.

I'm in the same boat as you. Last season didn't make me hate the show, but it wasn't keeping me hooked like before. I felt like it was making all the same mistakes that Surface did in its failure of a season: Too many story lines at once, too many plot twists, too many random directions, story twists that make soap operas look good. It was just nerve wracking.

Bring it all into one cohesive story or move on. I am hopeful that last season was a result of the writing strike causing some issues, but if this season repeats the same mistakes I am done.

Heroes has another strike against it because it was moved earlier due to Jay Leno, and now it is taking up the Chuck time slot. I know I should blame NBC or Jay Leno, but every bad episode will have me saying, "I could be watching Chuck right now."

If this season doesn't impress I can see me turning over to my PS3 and firing up some games.

Same here. I actually watched the whole of last season and was left with a big "meh" feeling. It was only about a month after I saw them that I realised I hadn't seen the season finale episode... that's how hooked it had me.

Personally, I think one of the major setbacks from this last season were:

  • The excess of Sylar-related stories. Sure, he's my favorite character, but not everything is Sylar.
  • Apparent non-renewability of powers, such as Hiro's power depleting itself and not being able to have it again, while other character's powers were infinite.
  • Despite Claire showing she's pretty much invulnerable and one of the strongest characters in the whole series, Noah still wants her baby to be untouched and tgo live her life like a normal child... seriously, the whole "claire-bear" subject is probably the biggest peeve I have with the whole series.

He's a father. Not much more to say on that.
