Well Foolkiller you were on the money again.
Almost, although I did say that maybe Hiro killed his father. Honestly, Adam being the killer had zero shock value.

Maybe you should try to write Heroes. I'm sure you do better storylines than what we see now.
No, I can predict comic storyline ripoffs, but I doubt I have the creativity to make soimething original. That's my biggest issue; I point out what comic storylines I see being repeated, but anything I came up with would just be a collection of comic inspirations. After 50+ years of comics I believe good original ideas are running thin.

I will say that with the writer's strike it has sped up the storyline, which I like.

Before I go forward: Mrs. Petrelli tells Parkman that Adam's blood makes people live for 400 years and that is why the company stopped him. Now, the company is snagging Claire and using her blood for curing the disease. And they even go so far as to use it on Noah. WTF?! Is it a good or bad idea? Make up your minds!!! Maybe in a dire plague prevention situation it is OK to consider but not in the bringing back rogue agents scenario.

So now we can conceivably bring back anyone from the dead we want?

Now, prediction time: Claire's blood is used to save people from the plague, but our next future vision shows a future of long-living, regenerative metahumans battling it out in an ugly war with massive government attempts to stop them.

Sort of like days of the Future Past? Or do you think they model it more like Civil War thing? I agree with about original comic ideas running thin but you can always give them a fresh look. Maybe they need to look into some indy stuff for new ideas. Or maybe look at some old Avenger or Fantastic 4 storylines. There were quite a few of those. I loved the Squadron Supreme stories and Masters of Evil storylines. 60's Fantastic Four had the best storylines.
My prediction- My prediction Claire's blood doesn't stop the virus by itself. I think they may have to combine her blood with Mohinder's for it to work. that probably won't happen but it would be different.

Funny, I actually contemplated linking the Wiki page for that storyline.

Heck, just stick the blood in Mohinder and then it is just his blood again. He wants to help so let him play the cure factory and leave everyone else alone.

👍

Why not their kind of just throwing everything else at the wall to see what sticks.

sorry if this has been asked before, but what are the powers of Hiro's father and Mrs. Petrelli? And who's the woman in the picture? The one Matt asked Mrs. Petrelli.

We are never told what they can do. And while I am a bit late to answer after last night's episode, but that woman is a scientist who created the virus that causes the plague and she went into hiding until Adam kills her.

The Peter vs. Hiro face off should be exciting. Although I somehow see it turning into Adam/Kensei vs. Hiro and Adam loses his head, but then it ends with Sylar regaining his powers and us finding Maya with her brain missing.

The two dead Heroes promised in the ad: Adam and Maya.

I still haven't seen the latest episode... from yesterday, is it?

I watch them online and it takes a while (4-5 days for them to publish the new one), although I watched the whole 1st season and what's gone on from the 2nd one last week.

That would make sense, especially since they're the latest additions and we're not sure how much we like them. Adam has a dark side, while Maya seems a tad whiny.

EDIT: I've just seen it... it came out faster than I thought. All I can say is how do they cut an episode like that?!

I did. It was OK. I'm glad they got rid of Maya. I hated her. Too bad her brother was killed. He was the cool one, but useless without any real powers.

Maya is alive, dude. Suresh injected her with the cheerleader's blood after Sylar shot her.

Monday's episode was okay. It seemed like it was over too quickly though. I do like what Hiro did with Adam though. But I bet in true comic book style he will escape somehow and cause problems. I liked the ending that was unexpected. I thought that something would happen but I didn't what it would be. As far the shooter I think it is none other than HRG.

Wouldn't Nathan survive the gunshot, if he had Adam's blood in him? The same way Claire survives fatal wounds, after they remove the bullet he should come back to life, right?

AFAIK his mum didn't know he had Adam's blood, or did she? If she did she would've ordered Nathan be shot in the head, as she told Matt, right?

I dunno, this season is proving much more teasing regarding endings than the last one.

Well, Adam is removed and Maya did die, just not permanently.

Either that or wouldn't Peter realize that he too can heal so his blood should work also?

I don't think she ordered the killing, because she said that she understood why it had to be done. I am pretty sure that she was talking to Bob.

And as mentioned before I am 99% sure that Noah Bennet is the assassin.

I guess the real question is: Does receiving regenerative blood make you regenerate forever or just act as an immediate healing agent? Because if the genetic makeup of your blood doesn't change then one could presume that after those cells die you can no longer regenerate. It is something that has never been revealed. We have yet to see someone who has received the blood actually get injured afterward.

My predictions: down the line Adam will return. He has a very, very long time to dig his way out, and I can't imagine it taking more than say a year. I guess it all depends on what the casket is made from.

Of course (here I go with real science again), he would eventually run out of oxygen and then suffer brain damage. Would that stop him from healing? This is totally hypothetical as we know they will have him come back eventually.

Am I the only one that thinks the actor who plays Sylar doesn't quite fit the part, he doesn't look quite right for the evil superhero, he looks more like an IT geek.

I'm guessing the place where the cemetary is will be changed, and in moving the coffins, his will open, thus admitting oxygen in and regenerating his functions.

I shouldn't have said that. It was obvious you hadn't seen the new one and I just spoiled it :(. Still, I was looking forward to Maya disappearing permanently.

Other than that being the whole point of the series (people not looking likely to be heroes, but being them all the same), I personally think the actor playing Sylar is pretty good for the part. He does indeed look like a geek, but he also has a dark image that makes him all the more evil. Perfect for those stealth moments where he must appear harmless.

One more question: At the beginning of the season, where Sylar kills the girl who could make the illusions, but could later not recreate her powers. And since his newly injected blood make him restore his previous powers, did he ever get around to consuming the illusion's girl brain, and thus will he have that power?

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the next episode. Up to episode 10 I was thinking the 2nd season is a complete flop, but episode 11 redeemed it.

Well, since science plays a very tiny role I doubt that will even be part of teh story.

Honestly, we don't need a character whose power is to literally whine you to death.

All questions I have, and that I am sure we will discover next season.

No more episodes for a while, possibly not even until next fall.....writer's strike.

They anyone notice that Volume 3 is called villians? Hopefully they introduce some new villianous characters. Frankly Sylar and the Company are getting old. I wonder which person from the Xmen universe they'll rip off next.

Am I the only one that noticed that Adam was Apocalypse? You know, the whole ancient mutant trying to wipe out civilization thing.

I'm waiting for the underground group who had their genetic changes physically alter them in a way that they must go into hiding and have decided they hate humans (Morlocks).

:dunce: I haven't thought about that one. I guess Adam didn't seem powerful enough to me.:dunce: It would be nice to see a Magneto type character. I'm waiting for Gambit or Bishop to show up.

You mean you didn't see the framed playing cards on a shelf in the background in the company vault in the last episode?

And I thought that was basically what the nuclear guy was, as atomically charging objects was Gambit's main power.

I didn't think of him as Gambit I was thinking more along the lines of radioactive man

Well, we don't have Beast yet either. They might not blatantly rip everyone off.

I was thinking a bit, since work is low.

Wouldn't Angela Petrelli's power be 'dreams of the future'? (Couldn't think of a better name).

In the first season, the first power Peter developed was the dreams, when he dreamt of himself flying and later the city blowing up. I'm guessing he might've absorbed that ability from her mum.

Good theory. I like it.

Interesting idea. Never though about that either.:dunce:

I'm thinking that's actually Charles Wallace's (is it Wallace? The old dying guy from Season One) power. Especially seeing as how he could converse with Peter in his dreams.
