High School

You guys are all lucky with your nice convenient auto tech classes. I'd like to take an auto class but the only option is to take the class at a different high school a good twenty minutes away, meaning I'd actually have to physically leave school and get there by bus every day to get there. Not worth it. :indiff:

Couldn't you just drive, and turn the 20 minute bus ride into a 15 minute car ride? Then you can like.. bring your car into the shop and whatnot.

Only a Freshman. Even though I can get a car in October as a Sophomore, chances are I can actually take it to school are slim. Seniors get first pick, Juniors get a lottery for remaining passes, and I don't think Sophomores get anything. :indiff:

How is your year going? I'm a junior, almost out. First car I plan to buy is a Corolla S.

I love walking into Study Hall late. I hear 5 girls yell "Michael's here" making everyone look at me. Today people in my Geometry class wanted to know how many of each people in the world there are. They got all the way down to gay people and even asked my teacher to do the math for them. The weirdest thing about Today was English when I went to my locker and came back to my class to have a really cute girl say "there's that beautiful man". I did not know what to say so I just smiled. I have to say today was a great day.

Eat. Sleep. Games. Crap. More games. Then sleep lol just kiddin or is it true??

Well of course that is true :sly:

But I mean going to a separate school for Auto Tech. Well worth the benefits you gain out of it. I mean really? Why not get those benefits of knowledge and licensing (at least here in NY) with a 20 minute bus ride every day? I mean I'm an avid car enthusiast and in my mind anyone with the chance should definitely do it or they aren't a true car enthusiast.

^^^I messed up my right wrist playing floor hockey today. Won the game, I scored all the points on my team too =P

Only a Freshman.

Define that, please.

Whatever it means, sucks for you. 👎

I'll be bringing in my car to shop Monday next week, swap some good white-wall winters onto my GM 5-bolt rims, put 'em on the back and rotate the whitewalls currently on my car to the front. Then putting the half bald tires into the Fords 5-bolt rims and off they go onto the Demo Derby car. 👍 Well also take a good look under my car to see how I would run dual exhaust, either with two glasspacks or no muffler at all, stock manifold. Whatever I decide to do I want to set off some car alarms in the parking lot.

Open headers if you want to set off alarms. That 302 will do it no problem. Trust me.

If you want to run dual pipes, 2 pipes off the manifolds straight out the back will mount up no problem, there is plenty of places to mount pipes from. Never get glasspacks, they sound like poop IMO. If you really want to set off alarms, don't put pipes on it like I said. You'll probably lose a bit of horsepower and I wouldn't run it like that all the time running the risk of a burnt valves (don't know how true this is, never had it happened before).

And ew, 5 bolt rims lol. God I hate 5 bolts lol

305 ;)

One idea I was thinking about with my Pontiac was to make it true duals, and just have them stop about halfway under the car with no muffler or anything. I would think that would prevent burnt valves. I've never seen that happen before though, one of my dads Chev's had open headers all the time and it never once happened. As for loss of power, I really don't care at this point, the restrictive cat and single exhaust on it probably chokes it out more than just open headers would. lol.

I like 5-bolt, stronger than four. :) I'm just disappointed that the Ford 5-bolt steelies don't have the same bolt pattern that my GM 5-bolt steelies do. They're both 15" rims. 👎 Otherwise I wouldn't have to bring my Pontiac to autoshop for that, would have had the good winters on it already at home. But now I have to switch rims and schtuff because of that.

The only thing that will cause burnt valves is running without any headers or a giant header leak. Shorty headers can cause it but it is very unlikely as the thing that causes valves to be burnt like that is atmosphere air being circulated into the combustion chamber.

Okay, well there we go. I'll probably just make it duals without muffler or cat, if I can get the pipe and welding done.. It'll be great. Hehe. Gots me excited.

That's what I do for the pickup is stop it 3/4 unde rthe bed and let it go. Works fine.

Yes of course you will gain knowledge...for a hassle though...but all worth it. In the end you can be your own car builder. I plan on making high end sports cars in the begining.... then moving up to super cars. Maybe race cars one day. I want to name my company "Falcon Motors". I want to be listed under Ford company like they are a partnership to me. They provide engines for me and I do the rest...chassic, etc...

So I got to replace a fuel filter today. My hands still smell like gasoline.

I love it when that happens.

Had German in the morning with the boys, one of, if not the Best. Class. Ever. 👍 Did verb forms, Ecce Homo, etc. :) On my spare now. Nothing to do, gotta love it. :ouch:

I know this thread and perhaps GTP in general isn't suited to this but I need help... My friends older brother Bill used my friends account to talk to me...

Him; "This is bill"
Me; "Hi?"
Bill; "Ur a re***d"
Me; "Uhhhh.... Explain?"
Bill; "Ur fat and cross eyed"
Me; "Okay... :indiff: "
Bill/Tom; "U eaten all of are food u fat c***"
Me; "our food*"

So that, and my dog has a lump and he has to go to a vet, other friends are turning on me and we might be losing our house... At the moment, I really don't feel like living.

But with the whole Bill thing... What do I do? Tell their mother or what?

Sorry GTP, I don't want to clutter the forums with such junk but I was just hoping you guys could help.
