High School

I get up a 6 am, get on the bus at 6:50 and get to school at 8:15am. Everday excluding weekends.

6:50->8:15 jeez. Mines: 6:55 leave house; 7:00 Get to bus stop; 7:10; at school; 7:50 school starts; 2:15 school ends; 2:17 get to bus; 2:20 leave school; 2:25 back at bus stop; 2:30 back home

This is all give or take, but for the back to the bus at the end of the day, it's all the way across campus. Not a short walk, even for a high school, check it out on google maps: 12000 Maryland 140.

You guys are lucky when it comes to how long the school day is. I wake up around 6:45-6:55 and go to school at 6:55-7:00 and I get there at 7:15. Then I go and sit in class until 7:30 when class starts. School let's out at 2:20 and I leave at about 2:25. Get home at 2:50. I'm just glad I now have friends that can take me to school instead of riding the 🤬 bus. When I rode the bus I had to walk down the street about .5 mile. That wasn't so bad, but what was the point? The only two to go down to tht stop were me and the kid directly across from my house. It didn't really make sense but oh well...

My home school starts at 7:50 but I go to an alternate school so that doesn't start until 8:30

8:30 here... finishes at 3:10.

I usually get up at around 7:30. Or should I say, I'm usually woken up at 7:30, but only manage to drag myself out of bed at around 7:45. Supposed to set off at 8:15 but most of the time end up setting off at 8:20.

Not bad.
You're day is 25 minutes longer than mine my problem is the 1/4 mile bus stop walks and I don't know anyone who is willing to drive. So my day is really about 7-2:30 and yours is about 7-2:50 (without get ready times), I'm just lucky I am within moderate walking distance to school and only live 5 minutes by car. And that my bus is relatively early, on-time, and consistent. The same cannot be said about the rest on my friends' buses. I'm just glad that because my grandparents are downgrading to one car soon, I'll most likely have a well-taken care of and halfway decent car as a first car, and for free (certainly not the insurance). Not the car I want however.

As long as it takes you from point A to point B, you're fine :)

Actually a lot of people still do shower in the morning. Why, I don't know, it doesn't make sense to me.

Its funny how the school system think they can control us.
Almost out guys only 1 more year to go.

30 or so kids at my school got suspended for making a Harlem Shake video. I think that is absolutely wrong. Apparently they got suspended because some people (all of them guys) took their shirts off. Are you kidding me? What is wrong with that? I don't really find these videos very entertaining but I find it absurd that people were suspended for this.

Pretty soon fun will become a punishable offense.

Tomorrow my school is sponsoring one at our basketball game. We already have one for the athletic staff. Go on YouTube and search "Nate Brubaker" this is the name of the channel. Then click the channel and watch the FHS Athletic Staff Harlem Shake.

Really? That's a stupid thing to suspend people for. I don't find anything wrong with it either, even in mixed PE classes, the boys have to take our reverseable tops off to turn them round. No one has ever had a problem with it AFAIK.

Is that a duck?

Awesome video, just a shame the school doesn't share that taste in humour. I'm tempted to organise a Harlem Shake at my school and see what they do... :dopey:

Does that stuff comprise entirely of this:

:sly:

Sadly, I only have £1 to spend, and Monster is £1.39! However, on a Friday, when my mum picks me up, I get a can then. :sly:

Yeah I'd say that's acceptable . Apart from the duck but I don't know what your school rules are on that.

Oh and @Katie, what can you get for £1 nowadays? I sometimes go into my local shop in the morning and even a small bag of Skittles is £1.40.

I'd tell the school to eff off and show up anyway personally. If they threaten to call the police to have me removed I will gladly say go for and use the defense of I did nothing wrong.

I love my school. It's like, "here's some Harlem Shake videos, can our school do one" School: "YES, sure, we'll even ask students to join by putting it on the announcements" it's great. I'll post a link to the video when I get it. I'm probably not going though. Cuz I be broke.
