High School

Yeah I'd say that's acceptable . Apart from the duck but I don't know what your school rules are on that.

Oh and @Katie, what can you get for £1 nowadays? I sometimes go into my local shop in the morning and even a small bag of Skittles is £1.40.

I can get two Mars bars, they're 50p each. :dopey:

I'm American so there's a McDonalds to the right of our school and a Burger King across the street, and an all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet there to. Mickey D's and BK are before and after school coffee breakfast places and The buffet is Friday after school hangout. But I don't do that, if I walk home, which I've done three times, I stop by Rite-Aid Pharmacy and buy an Arizona Sweet Tea for $1.00, I don't want to hang to eat, that's just a American sterotype that people make true. SMH. Although the Jews and pennies cannot get more true, it's me all the way . Although I'm glad they're tearing down the McDonalds next month :)...to build a new and better one :ouch:. I wish there was a facepalm emoticon.

Our school is in the middle of nowhere. And when I say middle of nowhere, I mean it. It actually was built on an area the KKK used to do rituals and stuff. We recently had a McDonald's put in and there is also a Subway. A really good resteraunt that has been there for quite a few years (I'm thinking at least 60) closed down late last year even though it got really good business. There's a Mexican resteraunt there now. Other than that there's more pizza places than you could eat at in a week and one stoplight. Even the utility poles are 2 feet into the street.

A kid from my school had apparently gotten into a car accident this weekend and both him and his mother were killed. :( I didn't really know him but I did play PS3 with him once.

Apparently someone in a truck was speeding and hit them. I happened to drive past the day it happened and they had a very busy street completely closed down.

I'm sorry for your loss man, we've lost a lot of people around here the last few years.

Thanks, I mean, I'm not to upset but it's a shame. That sounds terrible but I'm sure you understand what I mean by it.

Totally. There's been a few that I didn't really know that died in accidents but you can't help being somewhat saddened sometimes.

My band teacher has preached to us student safety ever since a few years back when he told us that a girl tried to walk across the street from school to Burger King, the road just happens to be a busy state highway...Maryland 140 and he got his and killed, the other student he describes as "self-inflicted" which we all know what that means. I unfortunately think that in my class (grade class) there are quite a few who would do that or make a stupid decision that could get them killed.

OH!!! Oh!!! I saw people typing what they're schedules consist of! I'm so going to do it!

6:45 - Get woken up by my dad.
7:10 - Remember that my clock is actually about 20 minutes slow, and it is 7:10. not 6:50 like I thought it was.
7:10-7:30 - Rush like an idiot to have breakfast, pack my lunch and whatever else I happen to need that day.
7:38 - Get on the bus and have a conversation with the bus driver, and then finally start listening to music to drum along with my feet and slap my knees to help me wake up)
7:55 - Get off the bus and then wait for school to start (none of my friends arrive until about 5 minutes before school starting).
8:35 (9:20 on Wednesdays ) Sanity is massively decreased after waiting a short amount of time.

1 hour somewhere during school (4 days a week) - Study spell where my friend and I go and jam at his house (allows me to actually play an acoustic guitar. I love acoustic guitars, I can't bend properly on one, but still).

3:15 - School ends, another wait for the bus to arrive. Listen to MP3 and get irritated if people try to talk to me, because I'd much rather prefer the company of my MP3 afterschool (before school is where I prefer talking to people).
Between 3:35 and 3:50 - Bus arrives.
Between 3:58 and 4:15 - Get off the bus and listen to a 3-4 minute long song as I walk down the driveway.
Between 4:01 and 4:20 - Arrive home, occasionally eat something, but otherwise just hop onto the computer.

4:30-anywhere between 6:00 and 10:00 - Do near to nothing, or practice singing, or drumming, or guitar, or write a song. (usually guitar these days, with a little bit of singing. I tend to write songs just when I get the inspiration which can be at any time).
Somewhere between 6:00 and 10:00 - Have dinner.
Somewhere between 6:20 and 10:20 - Go back to what I was doing previously.
11 PM: A little bit of gaming, or watch DVD.
Between 12 AM and 1 AM - Go to bed.

Did y'all atleast do the harlem shake right? It originated from P.Diddy not just random dancing moves gosh.

Going back tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends again, but that's about it. I have a Biology exam on Friday that I haven't revised at all for and I really should've, as I missed that whole unit. Got a Chemistry exam next Tuesday which I have also not revised for at all.

So apparently there were more to the suspensions of the kids who made the Harlem Shake video than I thought. Apparently they lied to a teacher to gain use of the classroom, and that is apparently very bad. Guess I can understand that. Apparently several of them also took part in a video containing many racial slurs, and it was also made at the school.

Still can't he'll but feel bad. Some of them are losing scholarships and acceptance to universities.

Finally got my crappy tires switch off my Pontiac in Auto shop yesterday, and the good winters (white-walls) from the Ford derby car switch onto my GM 5-bolt rims and on the rear of my Pontiac. Now the Vic. has the crappy tires on the rear and I got 4 white-walls all around! :) Looks nice with the wire wheels.

What model Pontiac do you own?

My shoes got destroyed yesterday, sole ripped off and all that fun stuff so I had to wear my DC's to school today and my school is mental about uniform so I was expecting backlash left right and center... not one teacher noticed... they're white for gods sake how can you not notice! Maybe I'm just a ninja and I didn't know it... or my school really doesn't care as much as they claim, more likely to be the latter.

What's your uniform? Ours is white polo shirts, gray panys or cargo pants. And white, black, gray, and brown and green shoes. No jackets or hoodies allowed in class unless school spirit wear. But it is always cold in classrooms. Oh and you can wear gray or green sweaters

I need to take 3 to graduate, But the clock is legitimately going backwards. The hands are moving counter clockwise.

Lol. Ghost? Jk. But all we need is too take 2 language class or work study to graduate.

School's own blazer, white shirt school's tie, black trousers and black shoes. We're allowed to wear jackets but not hoodies although I wear mine anyway and we can't wear black trainers which is a bit annoying because they last more than half a year unlike the shoes I get at least.
The uniform code tries to make us look formal but it doesn't really work when all the 'promiscuous girls' wear the skirts about an inch below they're crotch.

I'm glad my school doesn't require school uniforms! We have a dress code that is not enforced, though.

We have V-neck jumpers for Christ sake. And clip-on ties.

I'm sorry, but I just died laughing. Clip-on ties, holy 🤬. And I'm in no way the fashion police, I wear jeans and a t-shirt with a sweatshirt every day, but I do clean up well. Makes me feel spiffy, especially when I still had my fro.

Our school uniform is just a black polo with the school logo, a sweatshirt with the school logo and just plain black trousers.

That is bad

It's because it's England.
