Understood, I personally like Galaxies but really don't feel like buying them. So I have a $70 pair of Adidas's. Besides if I get something too flashy, I'd look like a wannabe black person. And I don't want to do that. There are to many wannabe 🤬 in my school as it is.

Today was rather non eventful. But yesterday the university of Michigan basketball team practiced in my high school gym. We could not go watch or talk to them, because they were surronded with a rather large security team, and we were told several times by all the adminstrators in the building we could not talk to the team, or coach.

That's what I mean, just something to get us together in something other that plain-text. PM me if you are interested in setting it up. I mean I have a couple of friends who might join, but they are in high school too. We can take a vote on letting these guys in.

In other news: First baseball game today. We lost 11-2, I caught for 5 innings, was 1-3 on picking off stealing runners. I hit cleanup and promptly hit 0-3 with 3 K's, not a great game. I also twisted my knee. The only consolation is that the JV softball (girls) lost, so they can't brag to me about us losing.

Currently in school using GTPlanet. I can go on this site but if I tried to go to a site like IGN, it's blocked. My schools firewall blocks everything including kids game sites since "You are not suppose to play games in school. They are made for work."

I hate it when they do stuff like that on school computers. When I was in high school they had all social networking blocked including GTPlanet.

My school looks at the popularity list sites and tries to block it. They can take control of my computer right now if they wanted to. My school use to have an open firewall but people decided to watch porn on the computers then they blocked it. They opened it slightly and people spent their time on Youtube so they blocked it again. Finally the school gave us wifi and some girl decides to watch porn on her phone. She got caught and the school now blocks the wifi. We really can't do anything besides some work and even then they block sites that can help you.

I guess I have to go to next class. I may be able to log back in later.

My school was the exact same way. I remember two of my friends were trying to play a game on the computer once years back and I don't remember everthing but they went to one website to play it and it was blocked so they went to another website to play it and the county office (the people who watch anybody on computers) locked there computers for that and some other absurd reason, it was down right stupid.👎 Many of the sites I frequetly used my freshman year are blocked now because they were used too much, had nothing to do with school and they hogged alot of bandwidth. Needless to say your not alone.

You sir must feel happy about skipping as i would myself. The friday before Spring Break, we had a mock car crash, which shows us not to text and drive. The thing is that, people today lack common sense.

My school has an open Wi-Fi. The problem is it tells you why it is blocked. Some are blocked because they are categorized as "teacher approved" but you can get around it by using the days service on your phone without Wi-Fi. It doesn't let me on GTP however.

That doesn't bother me, I can't go anywhere on school wi-fi anyway, the main router is right outside my homeroom and it's still slow. I;d rather use my phone's data service and waste my data than waste my time.

As far as blocked sites, all of GTP, including other forums and pretty much every website on the internet including Wikipedia, Google Images etc is blocked. Google maps, or any map site is blocked, FB, Youtube, all social networking is blocked, obviously porn sites are blocked, wifi is blocked, name a website and I bet you it's blocked. Every site I go on. Games, etc. Everything. Hell even the program restrictions are there. You can't open task manager, open batch files, paint, properties. You can't access the control panel, you can't access the HDD, you can't download anything, you can't do this you can't do that. The only thing you can do is open Microsoft office and Internet Explorer 6. And the computers are MAD slow.
