At tech today we had a competition to see who can take a tire off and put it back on and fill it to 35 psi the fastest.

I only used the one machine because I'm not that fast on the other, and I ended up getting third place overall with a time of 2:45.

Anyways, just got news that I don't have to take the biology ECA, which I guess is a good thing.

That is exactly how my school is with the heat :/


Our school has that competition. On of the guys in my class had it off, on and filled and placed in the correct square on the floor in 1:16.

My school seems to be opposite... When it's 80 out they use the AC like they're trying to cool the deserts of Africa, and when it's 30 out they turn up the heat like they're trying to bake cookies in the halls.

Same, my school is hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. They seem to use the heater in the summer and the A/C in the winter. Don't ask why because I truly don't understand.

My school can become very hot in May and June. Sometimes we get let out early because it's too hot. That doesn't happen often though. In fact, we are lucky if that happens once a school year.

Ours is always baking. I swear they have the heating up at full blast all year round. Also, many of our classrooms have un-openable windows and a lot of computers.

I must be lucky because my school's always at a comfortable temperature, except for photography at least. Of course, being in PE before that may play a factor in it feeling too hot.

My school is hotter than the core of the sun. Seriously, how the hell do the exam board expect you to concentrate if you are on the verge of being sick from the heat surrounding the room. And if you take your jacket off you get in trouble.

Speaking of hot at school, earlier this week I went into one of the bathrooms on campus. The thermometer said it was 94F in there. I couldn't get out fast enough.

Speaking of bathrooms, I can count the times I've been inside a school bathroom (not counting preschool, where the bathrooms were habitable) on one hand. I've only been to the bathroom once this year and that was to fill a pan with water. Elementary and middle school has pretty nasty bathrooms, though the bathroom at high school seems somewhat clean. I'd still rather hold it than go at school though.

I've used the school bathroom once in my life, and at that all I did was take a leak. I avoid the school bathroom AT ALL COSTS.

I've seen and done some crazy stuff in bathrooms. People think they can get away with smoking joints and cigarettes and other crap in there. I know a guy how carved an inch deep swastika on the bathroom one door and then went over it again in marker....and the school just tried to wash it off. It's still there to this day. I'm surprised they didn't replace the door. 👎

Some people in my school also try and do drugs in the bathroom. It's very disgusting when people try and do "dip" in the bathroom and spit it into the sinks. Thankfully it doesn't happen to often though.

Most of the guys I know that dip carry bottles around under there coats and spit when teachers aren't looking. Usually they don't go in the bathroom but it they do they are all very good about cleaning up after themselves.
