High School

Most of the guys I know that dip carry bottles around under there coats and spit when teachers aren't looking. Usually they don't go in the bathroom but it they do they are all very good about cleaning up after themselves.

It's still such a stupid thing to do in school. Unfortunately I have some scum bags in my school who don't care about others. 👎

You wouldn't believe what and where people and friends have done extremely illegal drugs. That's part of the reason I am trying to get out of that before I get myself in trouble and harm myself even more.

I've seen and done some crazy stuff in bathrooms. People think they can get away with smoking joints and cigarettes and other crap in there. I know a guy how carved an inch deep swastika on the bathroom one door and then went over it again in marker....and the school just tried to wash it off. It's still there to this day. I'm surprised they didn't replace the door. 👎

There's a swastika carved into one of the lockers here. Nobody's done drugs in our bathrooms, at least that I know of. Would be a very bad idea, seeing as the way the school's laid out all the bathrooms are near the entrance of a building. The entrance of a building is where security likes to hang out when class is in session. Speaking of crazy stuff in bathrooms, apparently there's a kid who uh, pleasured himself in the bathroom. From what I know about him, (he's in my physics class) I believe it.

Can't say there are any Neo-Nazis that vandalize our bathrooms... But there are some illuminati drawings on the stall doors... And pictures of Nicholas Cage making a creepy face taped up all over.

That's not vandalism, that's improving the school

I know someone that told a year 7 to bend over and pull his trousers down in the toilets. He got suspended for 2 weeks. If I know him well enough, he probably meant it as a joke but it got taken the wrong way.

I know of people that have done that and I have walked in on someone doing it in the wide open... That was an interesting event.

Nope I live in the country side. Everything around us is corn fields and lots of forest.

Do all of you attend inner city schools?!

I don't. My school is about an hour drive away from the city. Maybe it's because I go to a public school? I doubt private schools would have as many drug related problems. If you are assuming that location plays a large factor in this then you would be correct. However, you don't need to attend a school that's in the city to experience these problems.

My school is in the middle of nowhere and is arguably the worst school for drugs in the area. Between ours and a place called LeRoy (now infinitely famous for those chicks that contracted that syndrome that was like turrets and made national news) it's a tossup.

I go to a public school as well but people don't have sex in the library and do drugs in the school  Not to say kids from my school don't do drugs or have sex, but usually not much of it happens on campus.

Sounds like the best place to have sex. Just saying.

Edit* sorry for double post. I forgot.

If I attended an inner-city school in Phoenix I probably wouldn't be speaking English right now. My school's in a suburban area that's only come about in the last ten years or so, near a highway which also only came to be about ten years ago. It seems like a decent area, no crime to speak of, everyone's just upper middle class white folks. There's wannabe gangsta kids, and then there's kids who you know do drugs, but it's not common. There's no nearby forest for kids to go off and have sex like Ranman's school, just lots of dirt. There's some housing developments on the east side of the road but on the west side there's just the school and a bunch of empty space. For a school of 2600 kids everything runs pretty smoothly.

Sounds largely like my school... No crime to speak of... other than the occasional wannabe gangsters  Middle-upper and upper class white suburbia. Our location is more in the middle of the city that is our suburb, so it's surrounded by homes... But over all same kind of school.

No crime? Lucky..... I live right in the middle of money-land and the bad part of town-- most of which are coming from detroit :grumpy:

I personally havent seen any crime yet, which is fine by me 👍

Sunday nights are the worst. Just thinking about waking up early tomorrow makes me annoyed.

I know. I can't wait for graduation, the summer time and my laid back schedule for college.

May 20th feels so close :indiff:

Yikes... My dad was born and raised in the heart of Detroit. His dad (my grandpa) was shot and killed in a bank robbery when my dad was 17. When he was 12 his best friend was stabbed to death by an African American (no offense intended, this was the 60s in Detroit)
hile walking home from school. Definitely not a place to screw around in. When we looked up some of the houses he grew up in on street view, most of them were burned out, or boarded up. He was in the heart of Detroit though... 7 mile. And this was from the 50s-70s, but Detroit still has the highest murder rate per capita of any city in the US.

I don't have class on Mondays until 11:30 :)

While no offense was taken I still wonder why race has anything to do with such.

The Black Rebellion of Detroit in 67. Segregation was very much alive, blacks weren't fond of whites. It was like the civil war of Michigan. The 60s were not good times between blacks and whites in Detroit.
