High School

My school is really turning up the drama by making a confession page on Twitter. Some of the stuff is disgusting or creepy but majority of it is drama. Now I don't know if some of the things are true but there are a few things, mostly regarding sports, that I know are true. They are really trying to start issues with other people but of course the person saying the crap stays anonymous.

I had a friend of mine perform this at a school. She is the singer.

High School is a place where people like to start drama. That's why I don't participate with people a lot... or have snacks ready to watch everything go down as it's entertainment for the rest of us.

Some poeple made a confession page for students of the school I go, on Facebook, but the confessions are given in another platform to keep the identities of people on secret, the creator is now on University so he called some people to moderate, which almost no one, except a very select few know who they are, because the school knows about it and it have already kicked out someone who was tagged in a comment.

The confessions themselves are meh, but I was included in one and it caused me some trouble...

And my brother's girlfriend is one of the moderators, so that permitted me knowing all the people behind that

Too much homework, I have been doing it since I got home and I'm not finished yet. 6 periods in a day with 5 giving homework. If we didn't have weekends I would go crazy. I realize that it helps me study and all that but sometimes its very stressful to be sitting in a chair when its so nice outside.
I have just one honors class and I feel overloaded most days. I don't understand how some of these people can take all A.P. classes but however they do it, I can genuinely respect that.

Well I guess my break is over, now back to my History notes.

This x1000

My problem is I'll get homework but either lose the will to do it or just plain don't care and not do it. I get how it's supposed to help you but in the end I just find it causes more stress.

There should be a time for work and a time for play. Don't mix them.

The juniors had to take the ACT today. Sucks for them. Unfortunately, all the other grades had to take an apparently state mandated math test, which my school didn't bother telling us until yesterday.

Wait so the school had no clue about the test or was it on purpose to you guys?

I have HSAP, a high school standardized test mandatory if you want a diploma, yesterday, today and tomorrow... and I didn't even know about until Monday when they told us in a Sophomore meeting. I just hate standardized tests. Then I have a test in Spanish Friday. Just can't catch a break...

I was insulted or teased on 5 separate occasions today. I just love the people in my school.

We got report cards today, and I'm failing two of my classes, English and Physics. I'm planning on seeing of I can drop Physics, since that teacher will absolutely not let me pass since he hates me, and dedicate that extra period to getting my English grade back up, as well as just getting motivated again to do it.

I've got some stories for you guys.

Yesterday, the assistant principal was in charge of the afternoon announcements and during them, he brought up the donkey basketball game the school is having, and said something along the lines of, "We have [student's name] playing in the game. However, my only concern is that I will not be able to tell which is the jackass."

The computer teacher actually called down to the office after the announcements were finished to see if it was planned :odd:, which it was.

The other story: On the way to school this morning, there was a massive factory fire next to the one elementary school. It was so massive that going around a bend in the road about two miles out, we could see the smoke. Then while traveling on another road, we were driving through the smoke.

The update I got during third period from my friend Tyler said that there were 20 companies on the call, then the second update I got from the same person but in 7th period said that the fire was reduced to a smolder.

This fire was so huge that a mile away on the high school grounds, we could easily see smoke and smell sulfur.

Classes for the aforementioned elementary school were cancelled almost immediately after the first call went out for the fire. I will be very surprised if this doesn't make the news.

The last story: I had to put up with an idiot who I mentioned earlier in this thread at the end of the day. I told him I was in a bad mood and that it wasn't a good idea to mess with me. He still did so, and I gave him a shove and hightailed it out of the school to avoid causing a scene.

EDIT: Contains video, for those that are curious.

I find I'm acting like PD in my English class. I fail to give what the teacher asks for and I don't communicate enough with the teacher. I still have to hand in a stupid "media" project that's way over due and I can't get more than a 50% on it because it is late so I have no drive to do it. But I guess anything is better then a 0. Nobody even likes the teacher anyway (crazy/pyscho teacher). I have to make my next essay count or my mark will be in truly serious trouble.

*talking about weather*
Grr....

This really isn't the schools fault but I hate it when the sidewalk gets iced over and is covered by snow. I'm just walking home and then I slip on the covered thin ice and break into a puddle.

Its not fun to walk 1.5 miles in wet clothing during the winter.

Hey everyone. It's been at least 6 months since I've been here I think (give or take a few I suppose). Anyways, how did everyone do on the ACT? I got a 28.

Just past the halfway mark for my last grading period of my freshman year of high school. Overall its been a pleasant experience. My grades haven't tanked, the homework isn't hard, made more friends, didn't get beat up, ect lol

I took it 4 times back when I was in high school a year ago. Made a 28 twice and a 29 twice.

And then you get to the upper grades... and things get worse. Just warning you now.

Just found out today that, starting next week, all classes will be longer to make up for the several days we've missed due to snow. By how much, I do not know. :scared:
