High School

I get up an hour and a half before the first bell, so I get up at 7 am. I can get ready in under an hour.
Me too, but i have to wait about 20 minutes befor going up to the the top of the road (the highway where i get on my bus) my bus gets there at 8:05 am

Last time I checked English class was not History class. If the issues still persist today I would find those stories to be much more relevant in other subjects.
Ehhh, they kinda do.... Julio & Romiet shows the issues of teenage desperation and the way social boundaries play in our lives. Replace the family fued with another social boundary like race, ethnicity etc and it's very relavent in society today.

Brothello (well truly it should be called 50 Shades of Iago) teaches about social manipulation and the issues it causes. High school drama is basically social manipulation on a very minor scale and we see it every day. I'm sure you have an Iago in your circle of friends, and if not it's probably you (I admit it's me, I'm extremely manipulative).

Then again I was always in higher level lit classes, so Shakespeare was always fun as we always read it as a play and not a novel (people volunteered to read a part throughout the plays, and usually our teacher would select people for parts based on personality [surprise surprise, she selected me as Iago] and then we'd read it aloud as a class, then analyze.) so it was always a good bit more enjoyable than the usual high school horror story that it's reputation carries.

School goes back for me on the 27th or the 28th of this month, so when that happens, i won't be very active but i will try to get on when i can

Going back on Monday. Ugh. I don't want to go, but I've been so bored lately and I haven't seen my friends in a while. At least I'll be going back with a haircut and some nice new clothes I got for Christmas.

Also, who's looking forward to writing the wrong date on their papers? Not me.

I really screwed up my sleep schedule. Trying to sleep tomorrow night (Err, technically today, since it's 2:27 AM) is going to be awful. I'm an idiot.
You're not the only one mate. I've been celebrating Christmas and New Year's since the 23rd of December non-stop. Staying up til 4 AM each day.

Same, haven't woken up before 2 PM since Christmas day

I'm still up at 2:47 AM. That says it all.
I miss going to school :indiff:
I agree with him.

Later in life you'll be saying the same thing.
I'm only a sophomore and I already fear what happens afterwards. I may not have many friends and get harassed a lot (though mostly of my own doing), but most people that I do know will be gone in an instant. I'll only see them again if I look in the yearbook and find them via social media (something I rarely use). :indiff:

Last Year was the year of the new toilets. We wasted 300,000 dollars on them and they weren't any good and the funny thing is. The Boys got destroyed by the end of the first term. The Girls soon followed at the end of the year.

Next Year I'm heading to Year 11 (11 and 12 are Senior years in Australia) and just hope my 6 subject choices are good.

the only 3 good things happening this year in yr 11 for me in school is : 1. 1st year at tafe, 2. getting free food and a drink from the school canteen and 3. music

you should pick subjects that you enjoy, find interesting and that you are good at, like me for example, i am good on the bass, and i enjoy music, so i picked music for 1 of my elective subjects
and remember once you start yr 11, the subjects that you chose will stay with you until you either drop an elective, or finish yr 12 :)

Please tell me that you put some thought into it and that you didn't just pick what scales well. Because that never works.
Yes. I chose them based on what will help me in later life as well as subjects that involve my interest. Though since I don't want to go to Uni, I'm doing English Studies.

Maths I chose because I am good at it.

I also chose:
Japanese
Ancient History
Drama
IT: Multimedia

That's good to hear. It's impossible to tell what will scale and how well it will scale. And if you get a bad result in a subject, it's far more likely that you will drag everyone around you down than they will drag you up.

I have herd that Uni is full of assessments and assignments
... What else would you be doing there?
