High School

So, the homecoming dance was awful. Terrible music, everyone started to leave because of it. The only reason I stayed was to see if my song suggestion would be played. Of course it wasn't because Run To You by Bryan Adams is actually a good song.

I want my $10 dollars back...

Well I got to see my grades for each of my classes for the first time this year. Still have all As and Bs :D. Also in Phy Ed we played elimination and I nearly broke someone's nose with a dodge ball (don't worry it was made of foam).

My homecoming was more like a nightclub rave. Boring. Terrible. Spent most of the time hanging around with my Senior friends and goofing off rather than dancing.

And also witnessing the bitter feeling of the girl you like being out with another guy. :banghead:

On another subject, I'm going to try out for my school's baseball team in the Spring. I've never played organized sports before so I'm a bit worried that I might not make the team, especially with the high standards considering how good we are. :scared:

I can never get As, it is too hard for me to reach. Though I'm satisfied with getting C's as that means I pass :).

I usually get B's and C's and I get the occasional A in Music.

I am still waiting for my Yr.11 report 4 weeks into this term

How many subjects are you taking? Five? Six? So that's five or six teachers who need to compile all of your marks, address outcomes and write a comment for you. And there's what, two hundred people in your year group? All of that takes time - it takes me a week to do a class of thirty - and then it needs to be submitted to the head teacher for each subject for review, the year adviser for a welfare check, and the head teacher of administration to make sure the marks in the report line up with the marks in the system, and finally signed off by the principal.

I'm taking 6 school subjects and 1 TAFE subject, but still 4 weeks ?. there is at least 5 - 6 teachers for all subjects not including the head teacher for those subjects.

He was the one who was overthrown. Napoleon took over essentially after the First French Republic collapsed.
Then after used the guillotine on him and Maria Antoinette as well :P
You aren't kidding about that. I didn't vote for any senior superlatives and I just chucked an answer for Homecoming. I really do not like polls that causes a bit of tension with some people.

Because you can't have both a stand up taco and a soft taco, bucko.
You have a point :D

Well kind of. It was used on Louis XVI and his crazy wife during the time of the First French Republic. The Reign of Terror was started and basically ran by a man named Maximilien Robespierre and it ended ironically with his execution (he being the final victim) and Napoleon's rise to power a year later.

Japanese is certainly going to be fun tomorrow.

We are doing scavenger hunts around the School where we have to keep on finding clues which are written entirely in Japanese, so we have to translate it so we know where to go and what to do.

We are separated into 3 teams and each team has to make their own Scavenger hunt for an opposing team.

All Girls Team does the Boys Team Scavenger hunt.

Boys Team does the Lone Wolf Scavenger hunt.

Lone Wolf (me :P) does the All Girls Team Scavenger hunt.

Since I pretty much know everyone in my Japanese Class I can predict that the All Girls Team is going to be very difficult as it contains all the best Japanese Students in our class which will make things difficult for me. The Boys Team is going to be so stupid that it'll completely slow the All Girls Team down, I think they are planning on forcing the Girls to "sacrifice" a Mannikin (I don't get it either). That leaves me to make my Scavenger hunt well, so that the Boys Team doesn't have the advantage.

We are all leaving prizes at the end though the Team to finish first gets an extra Prize :D.

Ugh. I strongly dislike my substitute German teacher. My normal one is on maternity leave, so, you know, we need a new teacher.

This sub is our second one. 2nd. The first took up a new job offer, the second/current is from Britain (apparently) and has the most stereotypical English accent I'e ever heard. No English person sounds as faked as she does. That's not why I don't like her, it's because she doesn't know German.

Seriously, her German is painfully inaccurate. She's always telling us "oh, you're Honors German 2H, you should behave" (which I do), but it's hard to when you can't even speak German!

So, help us!
