Well at least that's what it feels like anywayIs Victoria Year 10 harder than NSW Year 10? I was able to get through Year 10 without any worries in any subject except in Modern History and that was due to a massive lack of interest.
Content-wise, no. Although they operate under different state curricula, students need to be at the same or similar place for Year 11; as soon as you start introducing massive variation going into senior school, student outcomes will vary wildly from state to state, which in turn has consequences for the tertiary admissions system. Is Victoria Year 10 harder than NSW Year 10?
It varies from state to state. The old school certificate - and equivalent in other states - was abolished when the Gillard government raised the school leaving age.Wait, there are SAC's in Year 10?
@CLowndes888 and me live in the same state, though. Could it perhaps be an individual school thing? Unless they're not technically SAC's, just 'Assessment tasks' like my school calls them for Year 11.It varies from state to state. Nope. Schools are bound by the rules set forward by their education departments.Could it perhaps be an individual school thing?
Really? You have a senior exam, you're only just preparing for it 24 hours out, and you call that "crisis averted"?Crisis averted.
Ye of little faith.Really? You have a senior exam, you're only just preparing for it 24 hours out, and you call that "crisis averted"?
Well I leave for the state archery tournament tomorrow (which is on Saturday). Hopefully I don't stink it up too bad. I room with two of my friends tomorrow night, so I think I'll have fun 👍
A lot of schools do it.Is it just my school, but do all the Yr. 11 and 12 students have to were a different colour school shirt than the rest of the school. I'm just wondering because all the seniors (Yr. 11 and 12) have to were a white shirt and yr. 7 - 10 have to were a blue shirt.

I don't think my school has any sort of grade color coding. We have colored teams for what we call Mountain Madness (It's some sort of sports day thing), but the colors do not correspond to any particular grade. They're just colors. At our school, freshman wear green, Sophomores wear red, Juniors wear blue, and Seniors wear white. Blue, white and red are our school colors but I don't what green is for, I guess they just needed a filler color.
We only have to wear these colors on special days like when we have pep rallies and stuff, even then it's optional.
We don't have uniforms either. I don't know what the dress code is (It's probably written somewhere, but I haven't really looked), but I don't remember ever hearing about any incidents of violations. I don't think any student would think of coming school wearing a shirt that has the N word on it.No uniforms at my school.![]()
