I graduated last year, but my old marching band went off to Ireland a week ago, and I'm proud to say that all my little band buddies will be bringing home the award for "Best Overall Band" in the Dublin St. Patrick's Day parade, and "Best Musical Performance" in the Limerick International Band Championship!

There was a bomb threat at our school today. We got evacuated to the middle school but it turned out to be a hoax so we were sent back. The whole thing lasted about an hour.

The school started blocking Snapchat and Instagram. Probably took weeks to put together abd 1000's of dollars from tax payers to do it.

Took us minutes to download a VPN app so we could get around it.

@EvanJamesLee our school hasn't had that yet, but here we are complaining about internet when there are bigger things to worry about.

I have the head of maths for my teacher and he said we don't have to do a half yearly exam if we did an assignment, so my class chose to do the assignment

My English Studies exam wasn't too hard. All we really needed to remember was the reasojs behind the Media Code of Ethics.

My average in English is currently a 32%(!?).

Maybe it's because my teacher still has yet to grade an essay which is labeled as a 0 in the grade book...

So apparently someone posted "Black Lives Matter" and "This School Is Racist" all over lockers. Apparently "School" was mispelled but i never seen it myself. I don't think they are going to get off lightly.

From what I see, all the people who moved here from a nearby city (which is mainly host to people of colour) seem to stick amongst themselves and haven't talked amongst others who were here before. I haven't had any classes with them so I can't tell for sure.

It is a small town full of hicks, hockey players, and skids. There is definetly homophobia/racism/sexism/etc here, but I don't see it being told straight to them, and it is only in certain pockets.

We joke about stuff like this, but it isn't to the point they would take offence to it (result of us watching too much idubbbz and filthy frank I assume). After this I actually had a friend wear a piece of paper that said "Other lives matter also" which I found quite funny.
