High School

First day of school was weird today. Had a test in Math. And The rooms were Freezing cold. But every girl has not changed a bit. Just more makeup lol.

Dude, those kind of rooms are the best.

The gym at my school is like that; must cost them a fortune, it's a pretty big gym. Still, makes jogging around a whole lot more nicer than jogging out in the heat in middle school. :dopey:

Not when you're wearing shorts and short sleeves. Ooh and it was raining and our school is too cheap to close the windows so it was cold and humid

My Math class is pretty cold. One some days when I wear light clothes I even shiver. Ironically, the same thing happened in junior high in the same class.

And another side note: My American Gov't teacher gives out way too much homework...

10 GT5 credits says I'll get math homework tomorrow

Hey, I sometimes where shorts in the winter. I just love the cold. Of course, I have to deal with a majority of my classmates whining about it.

Opposite for us, we have a half a million dollar cooling system for the school but the teachers say "you dont need it" when EVERY kid is sweating just walking let alone when we do the mile run.

My school just built a 6 million dollar gym last year and only 3 classes can use it. I'm in the old gym

We send out kids to Catholic School. 3 and 4 year old pre-school, Kindergarten and Grades 1-8 under one roof.

High School is grades 9-12.

College comes after that - my kids will attend. Every graduating Senior from their high school for more than ten comsecutive years has been accepted to a four year college. No Public School I have ever heard of can say that for even ONE year.

School logic at its best right there. 👍

False, my school is one and central high is another

My school: spend 6 million dollars on new gym
Only let 3 classes use it when we have 4 full size courts and a track above us.

Or you could be remembered as those parents who broke the trend and didn't send their children to college. :sly:
Just kidding. How large is the school?

Well, I've never heard of a school named "my school" and "Central High School" here is laughable. (Where do you go to school?)

So, I'm correct then, as no public school "I've ever heard of"...

Not only are we talking acceptance for seniors at my kids school, but 95%+ are accepted at their first choice college.

Not large. 3A in "athletic size" - biggest class is current Freshman class at 220 ish.

Damn, some of these Freshmen are sexy, shame I'm a Senior.

Shame I'm a sophomore. I'm almost 6 foot tall so major height difference :(

Not telling you the name... For privacy reasons

You'd tower over the kids here. Seems like everyone caps off at 5 foot 8 or so. Hardly any big tall bulky kids here that I know of. :dunce:

What is it with you and double posting...

Because racecar and 5 10.75 for a Asian is very tall

SHORTY!!! YOU'RE SHORTER THAN A ASIAN!!!! China- 1 America -0

We'll speak of this again on September 4th, 2013. I'll catch up to you by then.

Unlike Middle School, where I was pretty much at the bottom of the height scale, High School has plenty of shorties. For once, I actually tower over some of the other students, and I quite like it.

And I would probably stomp on you lol

Seniors cannot date Freshmen. That's just weird. Because if its the typical... ahem.... High School dating arrangement, shes 4 years younger than you. Imagine the awkwardness across the board. Especially when you try to take her to prom? Yeah, no. Not a good idea. You have to trust me on this one.

Haha oh boy, nearly 5'5"?

Try 6'5". Yeah. I'm taller than everyone at my school, apart from the Starting forward on our basketball team. He's 6'9"
