It looks to much like an accord but uglier. The 1.7 isnt much better but it is nicer looking.

the standard integra LS of late 80's early 90's, did it come standard with a 1.8?
 
That is two different models. the 86-87 model and the 88-89 model had a dohc 1.6l D16A8/9 respectivly. This motor is known as the brown top ZC. They are not the same as the jdm ZC or the euro rover ZC.

The 90-93 RS/LS models did however come with a dohc 1.8l non-vtec stock. The usdm GS-R came with a dohc 1.7l vtec engine and the jdm XSI came with a dohc 1.6l vtec engine.
 
Anybody able to find a dashboard wiring diagram for a EF2 Civic/CRX? (might be ED for you americans)

I've found a very rough .pdf which is hard to read :(

The DC is a decent car but isnt the looker that other cars are.



You might wanna get a helmes manual if your going to work on the car yourself.

I never said I didn't like the 1.6EL, its a great car, i'm just making a comment about the "cute" word. Save it for puppies and babies. If you were to say that at the NOPI Nat's or Darknights, even the bikini girls would beat ya with a sack of door knobs, lol. And it don't matter to me if ya don't like Preludes or not, I can't help it if ya don't have taste. :)

Back on topic though.

Personally, I love the DC. Great car for either show or go.

And about the wiring guide, if you get hard up, you can check your local Honda dealer. Most will be glad to help you with tech support or diagrams. Helped me with my Prelude in the past.
Ya can't forget that this whole import scene is whats helping sell Honda/Acura cars, and they know that any help they give could help lead to a sale in the future.
 
I like the model of prelude in yoru avatar and the one before that but the rest are rather ugly. The last model were terrible.

Thats my car in my avatar. And I agree with you on the 5th gen Preludes, The backs aren't bad, but the front end with the square headlights doesn't do it for me. I just wish my generation of Prelude could be supercharged like the 5th gens, thats the only thing that makes me jealous. :ouch:

And sure, I guess i'll join. Do I get a membership card and everything, or just the satisfaction of being part of a dedicated Honda thread? lol

You can make yourself a card if you like. Make it look like a block buster card so you can rent movies with it to... :lol:
