It's not just Scotland...
The problem is people who buy Prius' do not know nor care any bit about cars whatsoever in general, and people who don't know or care about any cars can't drive for 🤬

Of course, there's probably 1 or 2 exceptions somewhere...

Lol. I think Paul's a bit upset.

But seriously, drive it around for a bit, then come back.

Out of all of them the Prius was the most disappointing to drive. Was hoping for a pocket rocket, got a monotone auto. Wasted opportunity there.

I expected it, knowing in advance it had a CVT. Makes it harder to judge corner speeds, but oh well.

lets say ive had a few close calls with them one switching lanes 3 or 4 times before deciding which one it wanted and not borthering to check mirrors causing me to have to slam on the brakes, then one in a car park overtaking me while i let a car reverse out of their parking spot and then blocking the car i was letting out and me so he had to reverse behind me so the car i was letting out could get out, they are all fools on the road they have no idea how to use roads and on motorways sit at 50-60mph in the overtaking lane when its a 70 limit!! :yuck:

Bumping this, because I really want to do this RX-7 series now. Just need to get some details hammered down, and I don't want to make a new thread at the moment.

I'm thinking of doing it on Saturdays, around 1:00 PM EST. Could be a few hours earlier or later, depending on when people are available.

Cars will be stock. Not sure if I want to allow tuning or not. Leaning on allowing it, to be honest.

It'll probably just be a 5-race series. nothing big or major, or anything. Just a little fun thing we do in between Integra seasons.

If enough people are interested, I could get a thread up within a couple of days.

I would prefer a bit later then 1pm tbh.
I would prefer no tuning since it's a spec series anyway.

Just my thoughts.

I would like to second a bit later then 1:00pm EST. That's just my preference though. The best time for the majority should be the target.

If the car is well balanced stock (does not have intolerable understeer or oversteer) then I would prefer no tuning for the sake of being able to put all practice time into learning the track instead of tuning the car. Again, that's just my preference. I haven't spent to much time in the car so I don't know if the stock settings are fun enough. Any thoughts on this? I wonder if allowing tuning generally encourages or discourages people from joining series. It seemed like having no tuning got a lot of support in the FMSC thread.

Have you thought of tracks yet? Spa, Nordschleife, La Sarthe, Laguna are ones that come to my mind immediately. Could be a lot of fun.

I like the idea of having it on Saturday with same-day qualifying. Knockout qualifying of the FMSC methods would both be fine in my book.

When would you like to run this, Mule? I might be interested, as the RX7 was a very fun car, to be honest. But with PURE and possibly WSGTC (I'll try to get in), I'm not sure I may have the time to do it. Still interested, at least at this stage.

Nastra and I have been talking, and it wont be until the new year now. He's going to be helping out as well.

I'll let you guys all know when it's up.
