I'd prefer earlier races than that on a saturday. They fit better for me. My preference would be Friday 7-10pm (GMT) (anywhere between these two)

In fact better as I've got nothing on on a Friday :)
 
The Saturday at 3:30pm(U.S.) would be best for me. The Friday race would be tough as I'm likely to be in school at that time. Friday night(again U.S.) or Saturday any time would be best.

No aids apart from ABS on 1. I'll post it in the OP.
 
3:30 on Sat works for me. Can't do Fri as I work second shift and the week end is all I have for racing.
 
I guess the races will have to be the original idea. Saturday night GMT.
 
Not sure. Some research will have to be done. Not late though. 7-9?

Right, so to tally, 3 all :( Irritating that we don't all magically want the same day.

The vibe seems mostly for Satuday, (I'm neutral btw, no vote either way, at least for the moment),
I know raceorama can do anytime later than 9:30pm, we'll continue on that basis for the time being.

For people that wanted Friday, is there any particular time on a Saturday that would work slightly better for you? Earlier/Later, starting within the ball park of 3:30pm US EST / 8:30pm UK? The later the better so far for me and Raceorama I'm getting up at 7am so far đź‘Ť

Often debated thing, personally I run with ABS=1, I don't want to be strict about it, let's make this open to all, even if so far we're all gun racers, I want everyone to use 'virtually' anything they want.

The car's power, weight and tyres will be equal, but I think except for an aid that's god like (I don't know them, I stopped using them yonks ago), all's fair play, especially ABS and TCS.

So let's not update the OP to just ABS=1 please. Maybe turn off Skid Force Recovery, idk, better yet, request to use an aid and if someone says 'woah no way' then we'll consider turning it off, otherwise all's fair.

8:30pm UTC is the current time for the first race, which looks like it should be next Saturday, the 16th ;)
 
Hi all, new to GTplanet but this is exactly the type of thing i joined for. id be happy to join the event if someone would let me know the procedure for doing so..

My PSname is the same as my GTplanet one "Spatt"

not sure about the car ill use yet tho. when is the first race?
 
Hopefully Saturday the 16th, so just over a week, get done practice in the five tracks with a car that fits the profile.

We should go to high speed ring this year. Also would the citreon C4 be a hatchback?

C4 should be alright, High Speed Ring would be a little boring, something slightly less bland are the ones listed, which hopefully aren't too technical, but offer a reasonable challenge when pushing at the limit.

EDIT: In terms of time, I'm reasonably happy (still early) to be getting up at 7am, for a 7:30am race Sunday morning, if at all possible I'd even want it later, the later the better I have no commitments most Sundays.

So I'm hoping for more input regarding the time now, since raceorama isn't participating anymore, sky's the limit, but I'm starting with 8:30pm UK / 3:30pm US EST.
 
I'm free until about 5:30 US est on Saturdays so it's ok with me to push it back about an hour and a half if you want.
 
I really want to do this with you guys, because I really like the concept, but the timeframes aren't going to work for me. I've got a little on who is typically wide awake around this time on Saturdays, so its just too early.

I'm still going to keep following you guys, but sad that I can't compete. Keep an eye out for my (possible) new league. Let me know what you guys think, and if any of you would be interested in joining, plus any tips you might have.

8:30pm is fine for me. No later though. I think we are ready for the first round. We have enough members. Lets do this!
 
Awesome, no official race I don't think, but how about we do a test this Saturday night (tomorrow night?) I'll get up at 7am (Sunday morning, Australia), start the server, and all are welcome to come practice online.

Please FR me with enough notice Conza_No1 hope to see some of us there :)
