I am ashamed for not knowing that car. Jesus, the color goes so damn well.
Don't be, the fact that people aren't as familiar with it as the bellybutton muscle cars is part of why I'd want one. There was a variation with a red body and a matte black rear as well, and they too look fantastic, but that matte turquoise over the baby blue can't be argued with.

Here is a very special car that was also recently featured by Hot Rod Magazine. It's a 1963 Corvette Z06 which in itself, is special. This Corvette was owned by Mickey Thompson for a while, and Junior Johnson and Billy Krause drove it. However, this car is even more significant because it housed this:

427-chevy-mystery-motor-dyno-test-front.jpg

A 427 (7.0L) Mk II Mystery Motor. The engine in itself is believed to be 1 of 17-20, and it is believed to be one of the only Mystery Motors that didn't get destroyed when GM issued a racing ban shortly after the car raced at Daytona. The race spec mystery motors were the first that were destroyed, and since this was a race spec engine, its survival is a miracle. Even more significantly, it is possible (but not 100% confirmed) that the very mystery motor here is the one that the car raced with. This Corvette, along with another Z06, became one of the first cars to ever race with what we now know as the conventional Big Block Chevy. The cars owner (who interestingly is a Ford guy) painted the car silver because this is the scheme that the car had when it raced at Daytona in 1963. Fun fact about this particular mystery motor- The owner of the car actually outbid GM at an auction to obtain it. He also has had the engine dynoed and has done a power pull to 6,000 rpm with this very engine before later reuniting it with the car.

Mullholand Camaros

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I freaking love those. I also love what they were built for. Touge in Japan my rear, Mullholand is where it's at.

Jet-Hot '32

That car speaks to me in so many levels. It's a pity it is so ugly, but in normal black paint it would destroy.

there's one car I'd make a bee-line for...
(In that color combination, too.)

I'd drive one of these everyday of my life and the next one. In that color combo indeed.

Holy hell. What is that thing powering this T?

:0 I'd never seen this car. It looks absolutely amazing!

I bet it has 800hp and is slower than a stock GT.

750hp and it started as a Mustang GT. There are no 2015 GT500's so the SuperSnake conversion starts with a 2015 Premium Mustang GT. It is faster and it does handle better than a stock Mustang GT.
