Umm as far as i know a 350 only has one cam. And as for what exhaust you want ,Go with the flowmasters . Proven performance helper and you are not keeping it stock anyway. So what did you have done to the 350 ? bored ,balanced or stroked?

I love novas my little brother just swapped hi S-10 for a real nice 63 SS . My chevy 2 is running again . Just drove it yesterday.Well good luck with your car man

My brothers have a 70' El Camino. I'll post some pictures of it later. What are you planning for the motor? Color?

well the motor is a 350 small block, we want to spray it that olive green color you see on some of the new jettas, with black racing stripes down the hood but dont know if were going to get around to it. This is actually going to be my first car. we have done quite alot of work on it if you car to look back throught this thread you can see some earlier photos of it

They did it as a high school project in auto body. They have brand new bed trim, but they're probably going to put that rhino-lining stuff in. There was a lot of rust on this thing. They replaced the rear quarters from the cab on back. New tailgate skin, inner fenderwells, and the hood are new.

almost exactly what happened with ours, replaced both rear quarters, new hood, were guna pull dents out of the rear tailgate. right now we dont even have a bed in it the whole thing was rusted. I want to take autobody in later years of highschool, im only 15, but my dads been teaching me a bunch of stuff like welding, and other things.

I would have took it outside, but it's open-headers right now, and the neighbors get kind of pissed hearing that thing. Although that makes it all the more funnier.

yeah, we just put a new set of ceramic coated headers on ours. I think we are going to drive it for a while with only header mufflers on it. That picture was taken right before we blead the brakes on it so it was pushed outside:lol:

oooook slick 6, im gonna have to ask that piece for a feature on my site when its done. you think it can be possible? if so, send me a PM please! but, REALLY do.

It may be possible but this summer they're thinking about taking it apart again and redoing it right. It will be a long time before anything gets done I believe. But I'll try and remember and get back to you.

Hey everybody just to let you know. A partner of mine and I are starting an online business. I know for a fact that if you all are replacing factory car parts with after-market performance parts, then the factory parts are just laying around some where collecting dust. Either that or you junked them, even if you have spare rims or a set of Mickey Thompson treaded wide tires that you want to get rid of. This business can be very profitable for you if your buying or selling. My partner and I are in the final stages of offering full service for you to use. If anyone is Interested in getting rid of there old car parts to those who need a new set of edelbrock valve covers, or a front bumper to a 1968 Chevelle SS, or the hubcap off a buick. Contact me at (CFO@widgetbin.com).

a view shoring the new air shocks, gas tank, newly run brake lines along the rear axle. And the you look straight into the new set of ceramic coated headers we put on the El Camino

Pretty sweet 72El.
So this is your El Camino??
Nice.
Looks like a resto project or your really fixing it up.
Why airshocks for the car?? Those just don't hold up very long and can never get them to have the car level. Are there tire clearance issues here??
Just curious.
Anyway, just thought I'd see what was going on in this thread Cano started long ago.
Looks like it's coming along quite well.
Good luck on the Camino 72El.

yeah when the car is jacked up the tires are about an inch from hitting the rocker panel. there has been airshocks on it ever since we bought the car back in 1990 i suppose. The old ones never broke yet but we replaced them because we can :sly:. We actually had to rebuild the whole rear frame under the bed of it because it was a total rustbucket. We always joke about if we park it over grass the headers hang so low it will start a fire :scared: but it hasnt happened yet. the rear tires do not rub, but my they are an inch from hitting the quarter panel. It has yet to be inspected in georgia. we need to put windshield wipers on it and those winshield squirters and also have to finish the exhaust system  i like how it sounds but its illegal,

Sounds cool.
You done anything with the engine??
Open headers do sound good as long as the neighbors don't mind.
Keep on working with it, looks like it's coming along quite well.
