Woooo...small world. Pretty crazy, man; I would have loved to see what kind of a screamer your family's was with that 403!

My mother was deathly afraid of the car and refused to drive it at all costs. I loved riding in it though as a younger kid. I remember being picked up from school by my dad and once one of the teachers asked what kind of car to look for because my dad was running about 15 minutes late and my reply was "Oh, don't worry, I'll HEAR it when he pulls onto the street"

Lots of stories in that car... too bad I'd never afford the gas to get one myself.

Somebody on the H.A.M.B. at Jalopyjournal.com owns that Flat yellow.. (I can't remember if it's a Ford or a Chevy..)

I've got a couple other pics at home.. I'll post them up tomorrow.
It used to be Blue.

The Top is a 1953 or 54 Chevy, depending on what the grille up front is.

The bottom I'd say is a 49-51 Buick. I can't put my finger on what model it is. The Straight 8s are really cool.

Thanks stumpydino and High-Test. :D I've always pictured myself in a car like those. Flat black, red pinstripes on the hood and trunk, big chrome bumpers, huge whitewall tires, and a nice fat engine. :D

No prob. :)

Just don't forget the reverse Steel Wheels andMore Holley 94s than you can count on one hand.:dopey:

Gotta love those chrome dog dish rims. Call it blasphemy, but I'd rather have a new fuel injection. ;) I don't want to deal with carbs. :indiff:

Actually, you can do EFI on a Hilborn Style unit now.

But carbs are a pain. Especially lots of them.

Cool! Someone did that to a '32n a while back with a 302

He built a Roadster Pickup, and then welded the whole body together so it all lifted as one to see the 302 in back.

That's a new one on me.... I like it! could I put the ecotec in the back of a 9-3 to make it RWD?

That's really pretty, too. Where is the steering arm though?
