The Vette looks awesome. The turbo sticking out the cut hood, I like and hate at the same time.

’69 Chevelle built on a ’99 Nascar chassis

I remember reading a build thread on that Chevelle. I'm pretty sure he was going to try to tag it and drive it on the street. I'm not quite sure how that would work out though.

That last one with the flames is sick. Loving the turbo right in front.

Saw this beauty racing at the muscle car masters at Sydney motorsport park on the weekend. Immediately thought of Cano.

The thing is cool because Mercury. Also, I demand moar pics of the event.

and also, that blue fox Mustang above, awesome. Modular swap?

No it's a 302, unless its 351W, bit hard to tell, but the distributor is heavily protruding from the front of the block. Just looks like it because the breather tube is at the front of the valve cover, not the back like usual. A few other things gave it away too.

Its a 331 302 based stroker IIRC. Its a Windsor for sure.

Word. I thought it was a modular engine becaue I was seeing the pic at work in a small window (I shouldn't have internet at work, hence why I browse in a small window) and the Moroso catch can, which I clearly see now, looked like part of a valve cover, so the engine seemed huge

Done. These and the five I dumped in the Imports thread are the best of what I took. Had to upload with ImageShack because my flickr's almost full. Enjoy. 👍

And finally some Group C goodness, could have sworn I took more photos of these. :indiff:

Ooo some really cool cars there, I really like the first fender-flared Mustang. And if I remember correctly, the Group C squareboxes also used small block power, right? Or are those V6 cars?

Pretty sure they are smallblock cars, don't remember displacement size though. Might be like the old Trans Am series, nothing over 5 liters.

That is the Invader, a show car that won the America's Most Beautiful Roadster title two years in a row (66-67 if I remember correctly), one of like 5 cars to ever do so. It wore, also if I remember correctly, two Pontiac engines hooked to Jaguar E-Type drivetrains. The thing had two ignition systems, two gearboxes, two everything. It ran and drove, too.

And that fox Body is insane.
