It's a 1964 Peterbilt called Sneaky Pete. I found THIS on it, it has different carburetors on it but it's the same truck.

From Hot Rod Magazine

Class Winner
Jay Brown
Rogers, MN
'64 Ford Galaxie
Class: Modified Naturally Aspirated
Best E.T.: 9.49
Average E.T.: 9.52

If this car looks familiar to you, that's because it also competed in the '08 Drag Week. If the 585ci Cammer under the hood looks familiar, it's because it is similar to the one featured in the story "Return of the SOHC" in the Aug. '09 issue. The author of that story is the same guy who built and races this car, Jay Brown. The engine in the Galaxie is a bigger and more powerful one than in the story, and it allowed the car to run 9.50s every day . . . except the last one, when Jay turned in a 9.49 e.t. He was in a heck of a battle all week with the '88 Mustang of Red Johnson, who finished a close Second with an average of 9.58 compared with Jay's 9.52.
Drag Week Power Combos

Combo: The Cammer uses 4.500-bore CP pistons and a 4.600-stroke Crower billet crank and rods to make 585 inches, and the high-port heads are from Bill Coon. The cam is from Comp and features 0.725-inch lift, 272 degrees of duration, and 114 degrees of lobe separation-and it opens the valves with T&D rockers. Adding to the visual orgy is a Hilborn stack fuel-injection system converted to electronic. It makes 932 hp at 6,700 rpm and 820 lb-ft at 5,600 and sounds fantastic doing it. A C4 transmission with a Gear Vendors unit and 4.56:1 gears in a 9-inch get the big Ford moving on its 29.5x10.5 Hoosier slicks, and Jay sits comfortably in the brothel-like red interior.

I read all that semishouting expletives because I'm at work. I also feel a bit fussy inside the pants. Pure car porn for me right there. Dear God what a combo. I don't even want to imagine the money. amazing car 👍

Don't know if this car has been posted here before, it's sort of popular here. If I had to pick a Corvette to own it'd be this one!

Brian Hobaugh's Stingray is my idea of a perfect Corvette. I've been drooling over this car for the longest time now. Love it's appearance in Drive/ Big Muscle!

That thing looks absolutely absurd. I love the bare plexiglass thing on the rear.

I'll watch the video when I'm home. For some reason I always forget to watch Big Muscle.

The car is ridiculous quick. It's been autocrossing since it was brand new!

Yeah that video is what prompted me to post it, I saw it a the local autocross here at GoodGuy's in Pleasanton. Didn't realize that car has made that big of a splash.

It needs offset front and rear wheels - the front width is making it look out of balance.

I'm surprised how neutral and balanced it appears to handle. I would have thought it would push like crazy with those massive tires, but it seems to rotate quite nicely when needed. Looks like a blast to drive.

Steamrollers up front sort of take care of that push.

I also watched some videos on it, a nd it's specially noticeable from the outside. The thing has absolutelly zero body roll or inclination, because the tires are so freaking wide they win't let it  a blast to ddrive, indeed, and it looks bad-ass. I'm thinking about replicating it in Hot Wheels form.

When I watched the stingray (and others like it) at the autocross I was just amazed at how flat they go around like literal go-karts! They sound amazing as well. There was a truck that was bad ass too... I need to find it.

EDIT: here it is

315s up front make it a breeze.
