I have a lot of customs on the way and some are very close to being finished including another Viper.

I really need to get back to my Motorhome but I dread working with decal paper.

It's not difficult depending on the quality of decal paper you use. I suggest you start with laser printing because they don't require varnish protection.

I finally found a BMW E30 the other day. I wanted to remove the tampos, but I guess the paint must have been less resistant than what I'm used to because I managed to rub some of it off.

Enjoy Hot Wheels quality 👍

The worst is when you have to delete tampos printed in the grooves like doorlines. You can't wipe it off with a damp cotton swab, but you can't prick it off with a toothpick because acetone builds up in the crevice.

Well, I've successfuly shed paint off crevices with a toothpick submerged in acetone for a bit, but it's a lot more dangerous because you can peel off the paint in the edges of the crevice. If the paint held up the acetone-shod cotton swab with no problem it theoretically could stand it, but there's no warrant of that

some of my customs! :)

It's a test of my patience and motor skills. I've a very low success rate at removing tampos from crevices without taking out the base coat.

That looks near identical to one i started a while back (except i haven't cut away the grill). I would post a pic or two but i'm at work at the moment. You must have read my mind.

What? Flared out guards,front extension?

Yep flared out arch extensions (mine look like a similar width but are a little bit higher). It's going to be rear engined too.

Emmcee, I have many cars of Welly brand. In my opinion they are better than HW and not fantasious. A nice and cheap choice!

Yeah I came across and evo 8 and it has the pull back motor so the base if the car is raised. Makes it impossible to get lowered or sit right. But I found the base of a Porsche panamera from hotwheels eliminated that issue. Have you found any other issues with this brand?

No, I don't have this Evo but I have many of them without any issues! I never customized a Welly's one but they look pretty nice to me as they are. They cost less than $1.00 in Brazil!

You're welcome, Emmcee!!! Hope you find your next model for this project!

Concerning next F1 race, I think Ricciardo has a chance, but I could put a bid in Hamilton.

Sweet, that will look good, cars got obvious potential.
I agree, the little 500 has potential. I'm glad you posted yours as i'd completely forgotten i'd started one (got misplaced).
Yours is coming along great BTW 👍. Mine won't be getting finished for some time yet, (too many other projects and so little time). If i remember correctly @skootertrash74 (could be someone else) did one, and i thought to myself - i gotta try doing one of those.

I think the wheels are a perfect size, though i'll actually be using some wheels of one of those London Olympic Corgi cars (similar size).
