That looks great! I've been thinking about doing a custom one of those too. I think the 'Zcars' cars logo would look good (UK company that does motorbike Mini engine conversions), here's a link to their website: http://www.zcarsuk.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=100

Now that a bit of kinder weather is finally here, i feel more inspired to start doing customs again. I've got so many projects to complete, that it'll keep me going for years.. With the daunting task of finishing so many customs (some i haven't even shared here yet), i thought to myself, 'why not add to the ever increasing list of unfinished junk?'..
'But what car should i start next?' Hmm.. The only answer can be..

Miata!

This is a horrible problem.

Also, what Miata casting is that? Never seen it.

Ain't it just. :indiff:

Motormax. I'm going to try and shave down those a-pillars, a bit too chunky for my liking. I already tried to 'fix' the rear valance/bumper, and iv'e filed away the mirrors.

It's not the greatest of castings (rear overhang seems wrong), but there's plenty room for a custom roll-bar behind the seats.

Man oh man oh man, I want that miata /mx5 casting so bad. Jdm style all the way.

A little test fit of a roll bar. I'm tempted to go full race cage, but i prefer the aesthetics of a 4 point roll cage/bar. Knew these brass rods would come in handy, just need to measure before i cut (lop-sided).

Man, I have been to GTP in years. But I was looking for some help and came across this thread.
I don't have the paint to fully customize them yet but I have been buying loose real riders wheels like crazy.
These are what I have done so far.

Nice wheels. 👍 I just wish RR's were more available over here in the UK, i only own about 6 sets, and all but 2 of those sets i had to get from the US. It cost me about $35-40 (after shipping) for four Civics from America, just so i could use the Watanabes. But i refuse to do that again, i need to find another wheel solution. :indiff:

The agresive stance on the super bee was donated by the superbird intirior needs to be custumized but it's almost finished

I really like how the rumble bee stripe turned out I still need to paint the rims

Super bird is sporting a lower and level ride..rims will be panted to match wish I had real riders but don't have a single pair will shave the wing the top of it looks way to chunky :)

More progress on the Javelin. The interior sucks balls:

At first I thought about modifying it to my liking but in the end I ended up swapping it completely for the interior in this Maisto Chevelle:

Which was pretty neat, altough the rollcage didn't work in the crampled Javelin inards, so off it went.

However, the thing required massive massaging in order to fit. I had to trim everywhere, add some space for the door opening mechanicsm, lower the mounting point of the dash, and a to of other stuff. All of it will be painted black later.

The chassis also had to be trimmed down as it's inner part had a lot of... things that interfered with the Maisto interior, so all of it went to hell after a lot of filing down and dremeling:

It still needs a custom cage.

I am not too familiar with Hot Wheels yet. I have a pair of Charger Daytonas but those large rear wheels really throw me off. What are you doing to make it look so much better?

So, you guys remember that '32 Ford I posted like a month or so ago, with the State Trooper Talluville tampos? I took the motor from one of those Bel-Air gassers for it. But first, I will show you what other updating I did to it. Im sorry these first 2 pics are dark. But it is to show the wheels. First pic is of the wheels before I touched them. The clear plastic where the engine should be, is for filling the gap under the engine.

This is the flat black I painted the wheels. I think it looks tons better. Do you?
Ford Coupe 2.jpg

And, here is the finished product! I feel that this motor is better suited for the '32. I painted the headers white, as if they were ceramic. The block is dark blue, like a Big Block Ford motor should be.

Aaaand, that is all for now. I am modifying the Bel-Air gasser I took the motor from. Got quite a surprise for you guys with that one. (HINT: Think 16 cylinder)

Replace the chassi for the one on the super bee you will have to cut and glue the front end and rear end to match your mopar I do it rigt at the ribits on the in side that is words the sender of the car then do the same with the other side you did notice on the pics that the rims r different that's due to the fact that even the super bee has big wheats in the back so I use to front sets that levels it out hope it helps see my dodge Daytona

No. I can barely see a thing, man.

So sorry. The reason why I had the flash on is because I couldn't see the wheels without it. On my Galaxy S4 Active, (Thats what I take pics with), I can see the wheels.

You thew the motor in there wihtout the grille shell?

Yeah. When I took the grille off, It snapped in half. I personally think it looks okay.

I'm very sorry to hear about your camera being broken. It is still possible to take some good photos with a phone camera.. and yes there are ways to still capture dark wheels without using the flash on the phone. If you are at all interested in showing off work that looks more presentable, you can check out that link in my signature.

Opportunities like that just don't happen here in the UK.. You did well to come across 6 👍, but i'm not surprised there were no more, half hour later.

[EDIT]

Try and watch the double post though, else **R1600Turbo will be all up in your junk about it** (as well as the mods)

:D

Try use the edit just like this. 👍

**Warning to newbies: post bad photos and Andy will be all up in your junk about it**

I've let this go many times. I decided to speak up now. Think of a good reason why.

Anything?

If not, here's a short story:

In the past, you used to blame your camera and use the "We're not photographers" card as an excuse to not take a decent photo. Later in the future, you proceeded to put effort into setting up equipment, and using the same camera, you started producing significantly better photos. I've even acknowledged and show praise for that change. Did that mean nothing to you?

My camera still sucks, and it's probably because it was dropped at one point years ago and hasn't been the same since. It won't focus correctly, and the light levels are way off.

Will there be a day you will come out and acknowledge someone's help rather than taking it the wrong way?
Maybe when they stop repeating like a broken record.
