He could just post a pic of a disassembled car with all its parts in an exploded fashion and list that on eBay. I'm thinking of listing off any unwanted donors + a lot of unwanted wheels as one big item with the choice of reassembling the wheels or leaving it disassembled.

Hey, wait. I still need to see your complete junkyard.

I know. I also took back a lot of cars recently. :P

Take my crap mainlines for cheap, yo. I'll give you 5 shotty fantasy mainlines for a dollar.

Sorry to go of topic, but you have an awaiting PM

Looks great, although, wouldn't it be illegal calling it "Turbo's Custom Cars", since you didn't make the molds or anything (if this is what I think it is)?

Nope, hence no Mattel or HotWheels mentioned anywhere on it. I own the cars, I can do what I want with them. These are not mp3's. ;)

Yeah, as long as you don't take credit for anything but preparing the cars, then you should be just fine.

Well, you have modified the car beyond the point of calling it something Mattel made. A simple wheelswap however isn't enough of a change imo. But you've tapped the rivet and stripped the paint too. Could always contact either company first just in case, but you don't seem to care :P

Look, when you are done with destroying everything you want to destroy, take pictures again. I'm sure I'll end up nabbing stuff.

Cheers Sonygamer. 👍

@ R1600.
I agree with AOS in that the packaging doesn't look attractive enough, imo the fonts need more style, more style doesn't necessarily mean more colour, so you can still keep your print costs down. "Paint not included" i feel is a must on the packaging also.
"Create your own custom" would have been a nice slogan, but can understand why you wanted to use the Turbo name.

I'm sure i'll think of other things, when i do, i'll make some suggestions.

I really need some info (speaking mainly to AOS-), the Boulevard series Rigor Motor when opened, does it have anything on the base to hold the axle in place therefore requiring me to cut the axle in half or can the whole axle itself be pulled out by hand? If anybody knows please tell me! Really need to know as soon as possible!

I haven't cut open the Rigor Motor before.

Logic says, if those 3 little prongs are grasping that axle, then you can't pull it out. Duh! A bird is stuck in a cage but it's too big to fit between the bars. Do you go ahead and pull the bird out forcefully anyway? Of course not. You'll have to cut the cage open if it has no working doors! Same goes for metal bases, cut off those prongs with a dremel!

Oh so you don't wanna see what could potentially make you richer than the average blue-collared shirt worker? I see. You must not like money.

Z progress:

It may look like a pile of doo-doo, but trust me, getting it to this simple stage was harder than it looks.
In hindsight, i should have used a smaller drill-bit for the lights (gouged some of the bodywork).

Tell me you're going to put in LEDs hooked up to a microphone that makes it blink to the music it hears.

 I think you overestimate my skill level when it comes to customising, nice idea though.

@ Theace37, Cool 👍, what is it?

So to bring my Vanishing Point project over to this thread where it belongs, the plan is to make a diorama for this scene from the movie:

VanishingPoint1.jpg

Also, if you've never seen this movie, do yourself a favor and watch it!

Pro tip to building this diorama really easily: Go to a desert.

I live in a desert.

No, for the ground I'm thinking brown clay with dirt covering the top. That'll give me a good way to reproduce the tire marks, and something to stick the bushes into. Need to visit the hobby store for scale train accessories.

"Hells dept. Entertainment", that's Chojiro D Crazy, they guy that made the white metal stuff for the 55 Chevy panel and his own castings of the DD and Drag Bus.
