Minutes? Still too dull. Takes me like 30 seconds for two rivets.
Hey AHMEDFINK: Just a heads up the moderators don't like when people double post, they like use of the edit button instead. Just a friendly reminder.

I still love how you kept the original paint.

I drill two extra windows for transform it from a Delivery to a Tudor Sedan
"Few" days later
And finally, second place on Mexico Hotwheels Convention
I was looking to go out today to get the supplies i needed but it will have to wait, the store i usually go to is closed for the weekend oh well i can look around on Ebay for some donor cars
If you're looking at painting your Ford, your local B&Q do some good paint stripper. I used to have the same problem (some hobby shops not being open on the weekend.. it's a shame 'Beaties' in Birmingham isn't there anymore), but where i live now, i'm lucky to have the main distribution/warehouse/shop to one of the leading UK hobby stores.
Picked up some Tamiya goody's from there today:
2X 100ml acrylic Tamiya spray paint: 1X Mica red and 1X gloss clear.
5X 10ml acrylic Tamiya small pots of paint: 1X Orange gloss, 1X Red gloss, 1X Flat clear, 1X Flat black and 1X Rubber black... i'll maybe use it for the bumpers/arches of the 240Z, (and for those purple wheels Cano ).
3X Tamiya model brushes: 2X thin tipped brushes and 1X flat High finish brush.
1X 10mm Tamiya masking tape (hopefully it won't strip the paint... guess i'll just have to experiment ).
And finally 1X Chrome BMF (Bare metal foil) really looking forward to experiment with it, and was so tempted to get the copper finish as well... but maybe another time.
Nice Rod AHMED 👍! I love that bright green paint, gives the car a unique approach as a beast of a hot rod. Congrats on the 2nd place at the convention bro.
Thanks 👍 will pop down sometime, as for the paint stripper i have some at home, acetone based so will have to be careful on the plastics. Other than that just the paints left to buy.
Loch Nessy, if you're afraid of paint getting peeled off by tape, you could clear the surface first enough for it to have a rigid structure on its own. If you primed it then it should be okay. Mine peeled off easily because it barely stuck to the raw metal which I didn't prime.

Masking Tape is one of the biggest trolls for me when it comes to crafts...
I've never tried electrical on metal, but I have on Acrylic and it works beautifully. It works great on wood too granted the wood has tightly-packed grain.
I was thinking of painting it matte black with a gloss white roof. Good or bad idea?
Probably bad... because it should be all black with 3 green scratches.

Anyway, welcome to the thread and hobby Katie, yeah paint that sucker black with a white roof, then bolt on some black wheels for some sinister-looking Mini. You can always detail it later on.
