Where would N-GT Cars like the RSS Ferrucio 36 (Ferrari 360 GTN) Fall under; GT2? GT3? Or a new category for post-1982 Grand Tourers?

I have the FIA N-GT cars as their own separate class. There's four of them available for AC and I think that's enough to split them off.
I was doing some performance tests after reading this at Mugello with 100% AI and I for sure would not recommend having N-GT in any other modern GT category. They're simply too slow for GT2/3 and too fast for GT4.
You can find the Morgan and Nissan quite easily on Assettoland. The Morgan needs some ballast or restrictor to play nicely with the rest.

This thread is pure gold! I'm wondering if there's a chance to assign tags to single skins instead of cars, it was possible back in the days with GTR2 and rFactor, when tags were linked to skins files instead of main car. I have TONS of skins downloaded at RD and I want to categorize them, for instance a SGT300 GT3 class with all the SuperGT300 related skins, Blancpain GT3, Open GT, Adac Masters, VLN, and so on.
Make sense, I think it could work but wasn't able to make it happen for now. There are some random intruders. Need to double check if I edited ALL the skins I wanted to show up linked to a priority number, I'll investigate asap. Meanwhile when you have some spare time can you please confirm this method works on your end? Maybe try it on a car with small amount of skinsIf you choose a car in the Content tab and go to the bottom bar where it says "Skins" beside "Setups", it will bring up another page with a list of all the skins you have installed.
Each skin should have a text box which says "Priority" under country. If it doesn't, you need to create a UI.JSON for that specific skin. You can enter a number into the priority box like 1,2,3 etc.
If you make a certain racing series correspond to a number in priority, you can go to the random skins filter in detailed grid settings in the Race menu and type in the value you assign to a specific racing series. This should force the game to load skins from that priority number that you have assigned.
So for example. I go through all my GT3 cars and set Blancpain skins as priority 1 on each car. I then go to detailed grid settings and type in "1" into the random skins filter, which should force the game to load Blancpain skins for all the GT3 cars in the grid.
WOW it works!!! That's what I did in my test with Formula Hybrid 2017: changed skin Id (the folder skin) within Content Manager and renamed Team name the same way (json file always within Content Manager) so,Ok, I think I've cracked the code. The random skins filter can actually take letters and it seems like it works sort of like the tag filters for cars. It checks the skin's name and compares the letters within the filter to the skin's names. So it seems like priority is only for determining which random skin goes first or is more likely to be chosen.
So I tested this out by naming some skins "poop" and making the skin filter value "poop". It always summoned those cars with those skins without fail.
So I'd recommend trying to rename all your Blancpain skins to something along the lines of "Blancpain_Team_Number" and then setting the filter as "Blancpain" instead. It should only load skins that have the Blancpain text in their name.
Hi all, really interesting thread here. I've started organising my cars, but I'm wondering how to create folders for the tags? So I could have, say, "Touring", "GT" and "Prototype" as folders, and then underneath those, have some individual classes. As it is, everything looks very disorganised:

That’s a really good question/point actually. Personally within my tags menu it definitely starts getting messy once you start adding a whole bunch like I have. Of course it’s all alphabetical so it isn’t hard to find things but it’s not the most visually appealing.
Here's what I've got at the moment. I wouldn't say finding things is a huge chore or anything but items can get lost sometimes and this could definitely be improved upon with some sort of folder system.

The option to add folders for tags is something I’ve actually wanted for some time. I think it would be really cool if we could do more with the tags menu such as adding logos for folders and tags so we can have series logos for car groupings instead of just plain text.
But yeah, sorting tags with folders would be a really nice feature for those of us who use it. Unfortunately it hasn’t happened yet.
Ahh, see, to me it looked like it was possible judging from @cool3865 's post higher up on this page where they seem to be split into different folders. I guess not though, unfortunately.
I did just have the idea of using categories instead of tags to separate the classes, since you can have logos for those. I'll look into it a bit more.
Edit: Scratch that. Can't find any way of manually changing/adding logos to the categories.

Unfortunately: No, That is where the "Tags" are used as shown in this thread.Would it be also possible to put cars in different car-folders or sub-folders.
I´m losing gradually the overview on all my 400+ cars in my cars folder.
Could CM not handle a better cars system?
Darn, I really wish I could view that text file but it turns out as gibberish any time I try viewing it, any help possibly?Grouping race cars within their own classes is rather easy. But I also like to race with and against street cars. Much like in GranTurismo or Forza Motorsport at the lower levels. Both racing games have their own ranking system, which is not available in AC.
So last year I decided to make my own AI-ranking system. The logical choice for a comparable group should be the laptime of different cars. So I started to let the AI race against each other on the same track. Then I had the idea to also compare the AI-laptime against real world laptimes. I have searched for the race track with the most laptimes from street cars. I did find the most laptimes for "Hockenheim Short": https://fastestlaps.com/tracks/hockenheim-short There are several hundred entries here (dont be confused by "only" 236 entries in the list. That is just because that is the limit of the page - there are much more laptimes hidden within the cars ranking info.
So I took a certain car, choose 10 opponents with the same car, set the AI level to 100%. I started in the back of the field to not interfere with the AI but had the stay close to the AI for at least 2 laps (the AI slows down, when you are not doing this). After a 5 lap race I looked for the best laptime and transfered it into a datasheet (OpenOffice).
This is the result (first 10 entries), bold entries are Kunos cars:

I didnt finish the project but now I can group cars with a similar laptime - at least for this track. Just an idea.
Remove the txt-ending of the file.
I have converted the ods-file into an (old) Excel xls-file. I hope all funcionality of the file is still working. The forum accepts uploads in that format without changing the file-extension. I hope you can open and read it now.Darn, I really wish I could view that text file but it turns out as gibberish any time I try viewing it, any help possibly?
I sort my road cars using a similar system, lap times rather than power or engine capacity. I find it makes much more closer racing but some of my tiers are still quite a bit unbalanced.
