I already got all licenses, all courses. It seems to me that ALL the unlocking is done on Arcade disc. I don't get it, when I see Bonuses it's Credits for Arcade or Simulation mode

I also read a gameFAQ that you need to beat the arcade courses Easy, Normal, Hard, then Reverse it. When I Reverse it and beat it all it still only shows an R

Then I see an icon of a car on the right flashed in yellow. How the heck do I unlock that ?? I mean how to unlock EVERYTHING except prize cars, I'm already dominating the Simulation mode ;/

What are you trying to unlock?

Most of the unlockable stuff is on the ARcade disc.

Unlocking tracks in the normal direction is done by finishing licenses (you've done this...)

You unlock the higher classes of cars by finishing all the Single Races & Rallys on Normal level..

You unlock the reverse direction of tracks by finishing all Single Races & Rallys on the Hardest level. (It's best just to simply go for the hardest level if you're a good driver, this way you get everything out of the way quicker.

You also unlock the final movie (on the ARcade disc) by finishing the GT SEries (Nationals, Regionals, World Cup) on the Sim disc. Confusing, but that's how it's done.

There is a final unlockable on the Sim disc, but I won't spoil it for you. If you want the spoiler, highlight the following text:

Finish the Super License. There will be an extra page which shows up after the GT World Cup page. This is the Event Generator, which randomly creates sets of races for you depending on which car you're driving and how much power it has.

Well of course I spoiled myself. But I couldn't notice that..I'll find the Event Generator, sounds like the only good thing about GT2. I'm so tired of this game, GT1 was loads better. I finished all licenses so I can check that out, thanks dude

It's that, I can choose Ending Credits for Simulation and Arcade mode..wtf is the difference..it's so awkward !!

Is there any way to change the line up of cars in Arcade mode ?? Cuz they're all terrible the only one I like is the R34 which dominates those sissy Mustangs and Corvettes, pretty much everything.

My favorite track ever has to be Trial Mountain..I do it Easy Normal to Difficult, then I only see that track in Reverse. The other tracks for some reason I can click down but it shows no real difference..so I figure..but then I do the same to Trial Mountain for Reverse and it seems to make no difference. What's the lit up car icon about ?? I must've unlocked a car for Trial Mountain, but no way to find it ?? >.<

Very good sir. GT1 is technically a better game in lots of ways (I'll agree there) but I liked GT2 better myself. :P I'm a car enthusiast, tho, so if there weren't 700+ cars in the game, I might have gotten bored. GT2 also has some cool stuff not in the first game.

Yea, all the ending credits & movies are on the ARcade disc. You gotta do alot of disc switching to complete GT2 in entirety.

You can't change the line up of cars, unfortunately. If you're blowing away "sissy" cars, it's because you're overkilling them and should be driving something that's more of a challenge to you. Unless you don't mind being bored.

Also, in case you don't know, you can also buy cars in sim mode and race them in Arcade mode, by entering the "Home Garage" in ARcade. This is the way to go because this also means you get to fully tune your own stuff.

I'm not sure what the "lit up icon" is that you're talking about.

Alright dude. You know in Arcade disc that you click on Bonuses and you see the whole list of tracks ?? On the right side of each there's a car icon that's faded, and it becomes lit up once you dominate that track. So where on earth do you unlock THOSE cars ?? It doesn't tell me nothing at all..supposedly dominating the tracks on Arcade mode will give you bonus cars too

Sorry, I'm not sure what that is. I haven't played GT2 in quite awhile, you see.

Then load it up and tell me what to do !! I'm tired of the same ugly bonus cars in Simulation mode I wanna see what Arcade mode has to offer !!

I'm not sure, but if you complete all tracks with a car from one class and one level, you will unlock a car in the Super Sport class.
Therefore, to unlock all cars in the arcade mode, you have to :
- do all tracks with a A class car and Easy level
- do all tracks with a B class car and Easy level
- do all tracks with a Sport class car and Easy level
-> Then redo the same, but with Medium and Hard level

It works the same with rally cars.
To unlock all tracks, you need to complete all licences or almost, I don't remember.

THE CONFUSION !! Super Sport class ?? You mean the cars you unlock in Arcade racing will appear in Simulation ?? I figured I'd check my home garage and nothing new either..it's that every track has that same car icon like wow what the heck is it good for ??

And yes trust me, I have all licenses that's not a challenge..^_~

EXCUSE ME??? Listen, dude, you do NOT tell me what to do around here, is that clear? I'm willing to offer you tidbits of info if you're nice, and i've dropped plenty of it from MEMORY. 👎

And so far, you have not offered any words of thanks whatsoever. Matter of fact you seem downright boorish and rude. 👎

*REPORTED*
