What is the absolute fastest lap time you have achieved at Suzuka using a Honda Weider HSV-10 at the specs listed below.

493bhp
1100kg
Racing soft tires
Grip reduction set to REAL
Tire wear/fuel consumption set to ON
Skid recovery set to OFF

I'm down to the mid 1:52 area (will update with exact time and proof tonight or tomorrow)

Can anyone break into the 1:51's?

I did 2:03.426 but I used racing hard so I gonnause racing soft when I get back on my playstation without the tune I put on it

Try it with racing softs. I haven't had any "greats" run the spec yet, But from what I can't tell 1:53's and 1:54's will be the norm, 1:52's being pretty fast, and 1:51's being the alien times.

2:00.163. The understeer killing me,but I didn't say I got a fast driving style.im more of a accurate driver then a fast driver

I am at a loss with your HSV understeer problem. Did you try what I suggested in the other thread?

I didn't use any tunes.so that's why I real slow and had some understeer

I used the tips you told me and my lap time dropped to 1:59.287.it handles like a beauty now.

I take a different line through the s bends. Send me a friend request and we can run some laps.

Seeing the specs,i am pretty sure i can run 1'50, 49 would be a stretch, but not impossible.

Thats a pretty tall order. I don't even think a 1:50 is possible, let alone 49's

You are welcome to make me eat my words.

I assume it doesn't matter anymore as they are one in the same?

I did it online in some random lobby so in case a difference does exist, I would suggest online. Grip was set to real, tire wear was on.

Providing a replay is hard for me as I don't own a PS3 myself. I can easily duplicate the lap the next time I am online though, if needed.

Good luck.

rosko, did you tried the C7 TT seasonal event? You should join the WRS its a lot of fun!

Actually, When I heard what it was. I was stoked to try it. But I found that I just don't have the patience to do the TT's on a competitive level (in order to keep up with the ghost I was driving so erratically that I always invalidated the lap within 1 minute) until I get my own setup . Especially since I went straight from my last Time trial challenge to GT500 cars on Racing tires, Sports hards aren't in my comfort zone yet.

Question about the WRS. Maybe I missed it but I don't understand how the WRS races (not the TT events) are actually held. Do I have to participate in the WRS TT's to qualify for the WRS races?

I am more interested in the races. And does it take a few weeks from sign up to actually be eligible?

You dont need to participate in the TT event to take part into the online race, and you dont have to participate at every TT event as well, it wont hurt the handicap if you skip some events. :)

You just need to run the qualifier wich is on the 'ring, then you will know your division, and from there you can race online, people are great you would like those race :)

There is no need for you to verify your lap. It would be great though if we could meet up sometime and run some laps together, so that everything is crystal clear.

Now, a question about the specs, i see tuning is not prohibited so does that mean i can install parts like engine stage 3 etc. ?

You get ridiculed on this site if you don't supply proof. Running some laps sounds great.

You can do whatever you please as long as its at 493 HP. I used engine stage 3 and the turbo to get more torque.

I can supply the whole tune I used (except the trans setup) if anyone wants it.

Will probably be a few days till I am able to play again. Have you had a chance to run some hot laps yet? I want to see someone break into the 1:51's.

I'll run laps today or tomorrow and provide replay, but that doesn't stop you or anyone else from saying i'm using more power or whatever, so in any case, we will have to meet.

As for a laptime,i haven't tested anything yet, i just remember comfortably running high 49s with similar spec cars with srf on, so i guess 50 with srf off won't be too difficult for me..

If you can run a 1:50, You should be able to place very very high on the TT leaderboards. 1:50 is ungodly fast. I don't think its possible, if you can do it. My hat will go off to you.

TTs are not my cup of tea. Anyone can turn a million laps and hit a good one at one point. I race.

Post the tune and I will have a go :)

Edit,
To get 493bhp is 67.3% on the power limiter... Really?

Lol... Yes really. The spec is popular online. Having more torque is helpful, especially on the holeshot. I make use of whatever I can to be faster.

I'm on a DS3 and understeer is my enemy, oversteer is my friend. So you might want to tweak this.

No Chassis stiffening. High RPM Turbo and Engine stage 3 installed

Aero 40/58 or 40/60 Can't decide what I like better.

No ballast added, position moved all the way to the rear.

Suspension-

Ride height +3/-3
Springs 15.3/13.3
Dampers 8/6
Dampers 7/5
Rollbars 3/3

Camber 2.0/1.2
Toe +0.17/-0.18

LSD-
Initial 8
Accel 13
Decel 5

Run the brakes how you want, I constantly change them depending on tire wear. I usually am somewhere around 6/5.

I flipped the tranny and I run it right around 200mph. 1st gear is set for optimal launch (I race online) Second gear is set as long as possible while still having power exiting the hairpin/chicane.

Let me know what you think of it please? And let me know what you changed after you tried it.

Edit
I just checked out your youtube channel and noticed your CSL lap. Nice time

Edit again Just read the info.

I gonna try this tune in the super gt eifel race because that race start to frustrate me

Me and Dion just ran a few laps for an hour.. Dion had a 52.4 and I just got a 52.1..

Can see how 51's are possible but its not my idea of a fun combo.. More fun with proper power and racing hards. 👍

That was fun Dan 👍

Well done on that 52.1, I could see the time there but just wasn't able to put it together. I'd say with some more time both of us should drop into the high 51's but any more than that is a stretch at this stage.

So Roscko, to be doing mid 52's with a pad is a great effort.

52.1 nice time man. Thats a stretch for me but i'm gonna try and match it.

Yea I noticed that after I read the info on the video :)

I would prefer to use the racing hards, but I am not committed enough for PURE and all the online randoms run the softs. I hate racing by myself so I go wherever the action is. Did either of you try the tune I posted?
