Im not really waiting for FH, but FM definitly has a pull.
Cant wait for the Gears to be turning on a Sony console.

Would definitely be interesting if they released FM on Playstation but would they really want to go up again GT.

They could probably steal a fair amount of the Sport players who’d like some new race cars and tracks, and who are console-only.

FH also has its competitors, so I dont see a reason why it wouldnt be released.
And just having a look around on these forums almost begs for FM to be in direct contrast to GT.

Because Forza Horizon 5 is frequently considered the best racing game of that "type" and Forza 8 is frequently considered not even as good as the entry that came out before it 6 years prior. Microsoft will probably release it on PS5 because they might as well if Phil Spencer is going out of his way to talk about Starfield to PS5 of all things; but nobody at Sony is going to be quaking in their boots if a game with a worse reception and worse sales than the equivalent they make comes out on their platform 3+ years after their game has already gotten a locked in audience.




In no way would Forza 8 on PS5 be the Marvel Rivals to GT7's Overwatch 2, if you get me.

yeah PS6 unopposed in the market is a bit of a worry in terms of how much it’ll cost.

Supposedly they’re working on both a handheld and their successor home console, something Sony is reportedly doing as well.

Also rumoured is that Microsoft is planning a 3DO-style approach of offering their OS and system features to any other hardware manufacturer that wants it and letting them make their own Xbox. Weird times.

Most people who want GT7 probably already have it. I could see most of them getting Forza Motorsport as it is a far superior one player game.

Agree with this. There's a lot wrong with GT7 Vs previous iterations but Forza Motorsport as a single player experience is pretty terrible.

It’s ok, just very demanding of the player’s time with the way it’s set up.

Both games have some serious flaws, there’d be a pretty good racer if you mixed them together.

I mean, the career mode of Forza Motorsport isn't really the best, but I like it's free play mode better than GT7 as it allows you to rent any and every car in the game (FOMO cars not withstanding).

But you can’t create custom grid with your liveries like in GT7. Custom Race in GT7 offers much more possibilites.

And how much grinding does it take to get a full grid of, say, F3500 racing cars? Simply isn't worth the effort.

What is frustrating about both games' single player modes is it really obvious what people want, and neither game delivered, even though previous iterations have got very close.

With F3500 you can simply do one make race since it has different liveries.
But I do have 10 of them. Wasn’t that hard to get to be honest

Akso look into Custom Race thread, there are a lot of people who are making great things with this custom race editor. Forza doesn’t have that possibilites.

And with Forza you have atroucious destruction derby/overly agressive AI which also doesn’t work for offline racing. AI is bad in both games, but in case of GT we have Sophy to look forward to.
