How many times have you beat the same championship to...

Hi

i was just wandering how many times you have raced a particular championship just to get the price car in that special color you like best.

For me, it was the two championships in the american race hall. I did the second race about 13!! times in a row just to get that Camaro LM race car in black/white. the first 12 price cars were all red, green or blue. I just wanted that black one

But thats not even the worst. I had to do the classic muscle car race over 20!!!!!! times to get that Superbee in orange (vitamin c). For me that car just HAS TO BE orange. 💡 But to not race that championship over 20 times myself, i took the buick special '62, tuned it to something over 800 hp and b-speced the championship after the fifth time.

I also did the roadster endurance race about 5 times. I got the RX7 LM car in various colors, but not in black (what i was wishing for). But I'm really starting to like my orange one, although I'm not to sure wether I'm going to do that endurance race again till i get the black RX7 race car. It looks just to cool.

So what was your championship / race you did over and over again just to get that price car in the color you wanted?

I've done the VW GTi cup four times, so far. Many more to come, I think. I've got the white car 3 times, and a red one once. Black is the one I'm going for, red is fine, and I'm keeping at least one white. I may end up collecting all the colours, depending on how many more of them I get before black.

I've done the 4h Roadster endurance around 15 times already. I'm still missing the orange and the black RX-7 LM... but i've won many of all the other colors. I still have hopes that someday, i'll get these two colors.

Did three runs of Tsukuba Endurance to get the #00 grey/cream RX7. Two of the Nurburgring 24 Hours to get the white F1 (first time got the Mclaren, which I still love, I just wanted the white because it was the Mobil one).

It varies, really, mostly becaus eof the randomness of it.

I've done the Nurburgring 24 Hours nine times as I'm trying to collect all the F1's. I only need one more. I've been lucky and not gotten any doubles as of yet.

I raced the Old Muscle Car Cup more than ten times to get the Jamaica Blue Superbird. I wanted it to supplement my Evening Blue Cuda (I think it's the same colour with a different name, correct me if I'm wrong). Looks very cool with white alloys...

i did the suzuki concept cup twice to get a Blue GSX and i feel like doing the motegi 8Hr again to get a white NSX LM Concept road, since i got a black one and it doesnt suit black at all

I have done many champoinships over and over again to get the colour car I want. I know this is not a championship but I have B-Speced Nurburgring over 15 times and A-Speced once to get all the F1 cars. I think my PS2 is going to grenade!

That's quite funny. I got a black GTI and a white NSX LM road car first time out both times, and neither would have been my first choice of colour. I'll be going for another NSX pretty soon, but in hindsight I'm happy with black for the GTI. It makes it easy to hide that car in a dark corner, next to my black Beetle.

The series I've done the most is the beginner MR one, for a red Turbo Esprit HC. I got a white one first, and then got so many black ones that Stephen Hawking lost count and GT4 players around the world started getting "Sorry - black Esprits are out of stock" messages when they completed the series.

Still don't have a red one.

EDIT: Oh yeah. I also had to do the, um, er, Lotus Classics races (I think) four or five times to win an Elan that was a decent colour - any decent colour. The first few I got were either Light Hospital Ward Blue or Camel Vomit Beige. Neither appealed.

I did the Roadster Endurance quite a few times to get the green RX-7 LM, only to realise that I liked the blue one more. I did MR challenge a few time to get a white Lotus Esprit Turbo HC. I did the convertible race a few times to get the gold Prowler, which pissed me off quite much when I tried to use it. I also did the Supercar Festival a few times to get the white Cizeta, again, only to realise that I liked the black one better.

I am the biggest idiot of all,

I got 9 different F1 colors the first 9 times I did the N'24hr.
Still looking for the silver and black one after another 8 tries...17 times total

I have all of the RX7s from the 4 hr endurance, my miata has 4291.7 miles.

I have all of the FTOs from the Tokyo race. Ran it easily 20 times

Worst part is I have no idea why I have every color, I just wanted them.

if you are doing a series race, just save before the last race (just exit the series after the second last race - you will come back at the next race) and keep doing the last race over and over until GT4 give you the colour car you want. If you don't like the colour, reset and do race again and again and again (same as in GT3 when it gave different cars).
I know this wont help for the enduros, but what can you do?......

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that NSX Concept LM comes in white, grey, and black.

I thought there was a re-boot cheat in GT3 which allowed you to get the car you wanted without having to re-race the last race over and over again. It's been a few years though, so I don't remember for sure. There are tips somewhere online, aren't there?

i did the micra cup a number of times......the black mm-R kicks ass


dont know what it is with me and cup cars......i have atleast two from each series in the game (polo, beetle, micra, clio, etc)

That reminds me... I was given a grey and dark grey GSX/R-4... an entirely inappropriate colour scheme for that car. It's like Ronald McDonald, in full makeup including wig, wearing a plain black business suit. I need to do that series again.

I also need another Cizeta, since the red one does not photograph very well.

Thanks for the saving at the last race tip BTW. I forgot all about that! It will save Bob many repetitive miles

Yes, but with GT4 you can't reload the game without restarting the PS2.

That must be a huge PITA, those muscle cars come in a bazillion colours. The car's I'm trying for rarely have more the 4.

I got 4 suzuki GTRX thingies, 2 blue, a yellow and a black. Man I love this car, I tuned one of the blues as much as I could and it has some funky gold wire rims on it and a big black spoiler.
I also have 2 E Type jags because I wanted a better colour, I think I now have grey and silver.
