All these people that were teenagers in 2003. Did any of them grow up???
Myself, I'm 55. And a half.
TCP/IP didn't exist when I graduated high school.
I've had a camera that used flashcubes.
I remember changing out our phones with rotary dials for phones with push buttons, that beeped when you used them. And on the subject of phones, I remember when answering the phone was a surprise; who was out there on the other end?
I own monaural LPs. Well, they were my dad's, but I've inherited them. (No 78s, though!)
I stayed up late one July evening and watched Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the moon.
I've installed an 8-track player in a car. Both car and player were brand new.
I remember cassette players having a switch for Dolby B or C.
I remember the Beta-VHS war. (We got VHS for the longer time on a tape.)
I saw the Super Bowl Macintosh commercial live. And knew what it was.
Kids today.... you just don't know how good you have it!
