How Old are you and how long you been playing GT?

Been playing since 2001 (GT1 - GT5p), my friend had GT1 and I just had to have it. Back then I gamesharked, rode walls, played bumper cars and whatnot but w/e.

Picked up GT4 again this summer and actually played seriously, bought GT5p like a month ago. and despite all this time playing I still suck haha.

PS I hate racing with a DS2/3

24, been playing GT since the first game shortly after its release (late 98?), but I always played/borrowed friends copies of GT1 and GT2 since these were the games that only properly got me into cars. I was the first of my friends to have a PS2 so I bought GT3 and the rest is history.

I'm 28. The first GT I played was GT3 but I didn't start getting decent at until a couple years into GT4. I'm finally reached moderate level in GTP. But in GTP I finally decided to make the switch from controller to wheel and it took me a while to get used to it but now I try to only play with the wheel.

I'm no good with the wheel in other games like Codemasters Grid/Dirt, for some reason it just feel as tight with GT leading to tons of accidents.

I'm 14, first time I ever played GT was in 2001 it was GT3 at my cousins house, I was only 4 my cousin gave me the Polyphony 001 and put me in I think it was the Sunday cup I came third, he said I was pretty good for a 4 year old and ever since then GT has always been my favourite game I've owned all GT's ever since GT3 except for GT concept and I have a G25. Now I'm just doing GT4 all over again because I love the progress that you make in the game like you start off with a slow car and work your way up to the mid-ranged cars ( GTR's, Evo's, M3's etc... ) then to the touring cars and then the lemans cars.

I was a big car nut long before Gran Turismo came out.I seen in a Car magazine that it was coming out soon.I nearly fell over with joy reading the amount of cars and the simluation factor the game was going to have.I remember doing twice as many chores just to get this game.

But then I skipped GT2, didn't care for GT3, and only started on GT4 after playstation3 released. Waited until the psp version was clearanced for $10.

Guess I was more of a forza/segaGT fan up until I got a decent wheel.

I'm 20 and I've been playing GT since I got my PS1 in 2000...I begin with GT2 (my first game on ps1) then GT1 then I bought My PS2 in 2002 with GT3(my first game on ps2....got 160 now....)and GT4.I bought Tourist trophy too ..even if I'am not a bike guy.. I'm waiting holidays to make the big step to the ps3...got games but need the console.

I`m 32 and have played GT1,GT2,GT3,GT4,GTHD and GT5P.
To me it`s not just a game, It is the best chance drive all these great cars.
It wont ever be possible for me where I live to get a really cool car, because all cars is plus 180% in taxes. So a 10,000 dollar car would cost 28,000 here in Dk.
So thanks PD for giving me the chance to race anyway
I`ll keep on racing GT games forever. Just imagine how cool it`will be in 20 years

I did play GT1 in a friends house, so the only main series GT I haven't played is GT2.
I own GT3, GT4 and GT5, and I am waiting so bad for GT5

GT1 it was my first racing game on PSone. when I saw GTR-33 in GT1 I said oh no! that's my fav car GTR and first time to see R33 XD
i'm really enjoying this game and I don't look at any racing games. GT FTW ^^

Im 39 but feel 59 and have been playing GT since this wonderful franchise arrived. Still remember the day vivdly when I first played GT1 and how my jaw dropped at the intro. A magical moment because I remember thinking "how on earth have they managed to do this".

I'm 28 and remember the first time I played GT1 at a girlfriends house on her brothers ps1, had to get hold of one after that and progressed to GT2 when it came out (was that the scratch and sniff disc?), was a bit late getting a ps2 as I moved out of home when I was 17 so I eventually got one with GT3 then moved on to GT4, remember that none of my friends ever wanted to race against me in split screen so if they did I would always 'lose' control just before the finish line and let them win! Bought a ps3 ready for GT5's release, but that was about 3 years ago, and still waiting............!! But GT5p has filled the time, I even went back to GT4 when I purchased a DFGT.

Glad to see there are some older users out there, now I can tell the wife I'm not just a big kid!

29, owned every version but the psp. Even bought a japanese ps2 and versions on that system so I could get the gt4 version earlier. Remembered cutting class in school to race with friends with the first gt.
