17 and I've played every single GT since I got a PS One is 98'. I remember I was 5 when I got GT 1; best Christmas I ever had until GT2 next year, GT3 and PS2 3 years later, GT4 in 2004, and PS3 in 2008. :dopey:

22 now

Played GT2 for the first time in 2000 on bleemcast! Never played the original. Got addicted to GT3, practically lived and breathed for it when it came out. I found GT4 to be a bit underwhelming though.

I'm 19. I became a huge GT fan the very moment I started playing GT4. It was 3 years ago. Finished it after some time with all golds and 100% and then jumped to GT3. There, I got to 90% with all golds before I bought PS3 around Christmas time 2009 and then started playing Time Trial Challenge and soon enough bought GT5P. Circa six weeks ago I bought DFGT, but I'm still waiting to get myself a monitor or a TV for my room so I can actually use the wheel. But everything will be ready soon, before GT5 comes out.

I am turning 50 on November 25, have been playing GT since one rainy day when my wife hired a PS1 and Gt2 from the local video store.
I never even played videogames until then, but was hooked.
Guess you could say that GT changed my life, LOL

That's a great story- it's wife's fault that you're now hooked :)

Hi there.
First post here on GTPlanet :)

I'm 20 years old now. . .
I've bought the first GT when it was released.
Have them all from Ps1 to Ps3, but only one is platinum (The GT3 that came in a pack with the Ps2 and The Fast and The Furious movie).

24 and have played since GT1 was brand new. The games have gotten and better as far as I'm concerned. Hundred upon hundreds of hours spent on every game for sure.

before November 20th 25, if is after november 20th 26 :scared:

and playing GT, since I was 15 when I got GT1 as my first PS Game :P

23, been playing since 2002.

I find it amusing that in my 8 years of fandom I have have graduated both highschool and college, moved 5 times, lost a significant amount of hair, owned 4 different cars and have still only witnessed one GT release

And honestly, I'm not complaining here, it's just a testament to how good the games are that I will stick around so long :)

I'm 18, i vagley remember playing GT2. The most vivid memory i have of it is east city's music and doing 1 race over and over to race mod my cars. Last GT i played was 3 never got around to playing 4

12 (I know annoying....) I first starting playing when i was six and I was a little late to the GT series. My first GT game was GT3 then went from there getting 4 and psp. And not so long ago I found a good copy of GT2. :)

I am 26 and I've owned
*deep breath*
GT
GT2
GT3 A-spec
GT Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva
GT4 Prologue
GT4
GT5 Prologue
and I have a pre-order for GT5 (middle UK spec Package)

I am 21, and interestingly enough, I got into the GT series through literally only GT5P. Some how, this so called "demo" sparked my interest in cars greatly. Now I find myself online everyday, looking at the different brands of cars across the world looking at designs and specs for the heck of it! Haven't played any of the GT4 titles and back, so GT5 is a brand new experience for me. Got a G25 ready too! All I gotta say though is I'm ready to play my first REAL GT title and that's GT5! :)

Dude.... if you've got a Fat PS3 with PS2 capabilities, buying GT4 will be the 2nd best buy you'll make this year (hopefully)

I'd say it even worth buying a 2nd hand PS2 just to experience it...

I'm fairly confident I'll still play GT4 even once GT5 is here...

In the words of Starsky(Stiller), do it... do it!

I am 11! I got addicted in August when I went to my cousin's house and played GT5P; now I am saving up for a PS3:)

I've played and own all GT games. I've been playing since 89, Iam 25 now. When GT5 comes my grandchildren will probably play it.

I'm 31 and I've played since the first game. My friend introduced me to it and while I didn't take to it right away, it actually started my life as a car enthusiast.

I'm 26.

In all honesty I don't remember the specifics, but I know I played GT1 either when it came out or within a few months of that date, I'm guessing back in 1998??? Wow, so long ago now.

From the very first time I saw that intro movie I knew I was watching something special, something that quite simply had not been achieved on a home console before. I knew I liked racing games since playing Virtua Racing, then Sega Rally. Yep, I was a Sega kid and it took me a while to get into PlayStation, WipeOut 2097 was the game that made me take the leap, and GT was the one that sealed the deal. I knew I wanted real racing, real driving, over more arcadey exploits, and GT delivered as best it could on that hardware, likewise evolving with GT3 and 4, however those games for whatever reason I never really played as much as they deserved.

I'm still not a car nut in the way that plenty others around here are, but I still appreciate them very much and GT brings a unique passion for cars which no other game comes anywhere close to. I appreciate how good Forza can be but it feels very much like a GT clone, done simply to make sure the Xbox brand 'has a GT'. Kazunori Yamauchi's passion takes the series beyond anything else, and with GT5 it seems to be taking a quantum leap beyond what many of us thought would happen with this series, a leap towards ever more realism. I for one welcome it and can't wait to enjoy this game. I know it will be the first GT game I take truly seriously, and know for a fact my PS3 will almost exclusively be spinning this disc and only this disc for the next year or two at least! I'm looking forward to improving my driving skills immensely, improving my car history and mechanical knowledge and just enjoying the thrill of driving these beautiful cars around some of the world's best tracks (I take that last bit back if Spa isn't in the game however :P).

GT5 is going to reclaim driving for those who care about their racing games, long live Yamauchi-san :)

29, been playing since GT1, still think the mazda RX-7 we started with was the fastes because we had it set up perfectly.

I will be 30 on Dec 15 2010. Been playing since 1998 and have had every GT game and have GT5 CE preordered and paid in full. I also have my DFGT ready to go. 👍

I'm 64, retired, and an avid sports car enthusiast. I was out drag-racing (street racing) a '67 Chevelle SS IRL back when it was new, so the GT games are a lot safer place to be. I started with GT3 and spent a lot of time playing GT4. When I grow up I'll stop playing video games, but I'm not sure when that'll be 'cause I already have 14 grandchildren!

Pete

I'm 43 and work for the R.R. as a locomotive engineer. I promise not to damage any disks when they are shipped :).

I got a late start to GT. I have only been playing for a few months and started with GT5P.

I'm 23 and played GT1, GT2 at a friends never managed to play GT3 or GT4 due to playing Project Gotham 1-3. Now playing Forza 3, but played GT5P and had GTPSP, they were then sold on.

So I'm really really looking forward to my first full GT game with my new DFGT, which I'm saving till GT5 comes out for the experience!!! :)
