I'm 42 and playing since day 1 .... and damn proud of it !!!

All credits to Kaz for creating GT as it is and how its evolved... wow!
(and thnx SONY for making it happen ! )

I'm 19 (just about 20) and I've been playing since '98. Played GT and GT2 almost religiously for a couple years. Slept on GT3 when I got a PS2 a few years back, 'cause I was too involved with Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. Only just got GT3 a couple months ago, and now I'm looking to secure a copy of GT4 before the new one comes out.

Just have to get a PS3 and a wheel, then GT5 will be mine!

BTW, first post!

I am 26 and have been playing since GT1 but like some of you other "older" guys I don't get to play as much as I did in the past. I'm really looking forward to GT5 and am going to use a wheel for the first time in GT so hopefully it will make for a more enjoyable experience.

I'm 20 and have been a car enthusiast and petrol head since my first Autoshow in 1994. I've been a GT fan since it's start in 1998, and had the pleasure of owning GT, GT2, GT3, GT4 Prologue, GT4, and GT5 Prologue. I'm more than ready to get my hands on my GT5-CE. :sly:

Catch you guys on the track! :gtpflag:

35, played and completed all GT's... And the Motorcycle one... But I didn't play prologue until last week... after so many years I just know better :)

I swore I wouldn't buy a PS3 till 5 came out... well now I need to butcher my xbox setup and get a new wheel for my cockpit lol...

I'm 36, and played only GT2 (very late, don't remember..) & GT4 (since release). So far, GT5 will be my first odd GT game!

Thirty-three, playing since sometime in 1998. My wife even bought me my second PS2 bundled with GT3. :D

I am now 29, and I was 27 when I posted this thread, and guess what we are still for GT5!!

But it won't be long, and we can all relive the magical moments but this time with millions online and I hope to share amazing racing experiences with all of you.

Fixed it up a little Pappaclart, hope I didn't distort your message.
Look forward to seeing you on the track.

Same here,since 1998.
I'm 27 now.I remember around '98 that resident evil 2 was out same time...but GT took my all my psx time!
Also I remeber how I got GT2 before the spanish magazines made a review of the game.

36, play since GT2 and collected several special editions from PD....still love GT4 but cannot play on PS3.
Love physics on GT5...

By the way....i want to take this opportunity to send my big thanks for the website owner and also who are contributing the passionate information from all over the world...

Since 98 also
I'm 27 and remember skipping school to buy a copy at the local Hills Department store. I ended up falling asleep controller in hand that night and, you can ask my wife I still have that bad habit till this day. As with all of you I'm looking forward to GT5 now the only difference now is I fall asleep a lot earlier than I use to.

I'm 26, and I can remember when I was 14 or 15 (Freshman year of High School) I first started to get into cars big time, so a friend gave me Gran Turismo 2, which astounded me with its massive selection of cars... so many that I'd never even heard of from Japan and elsewhere. The graphics and handling seemed weird, but I got drawn into collecting these strange cars and modifying them to be total beasts, not to mention the cars in the game that were ALREADY total beasts like the Escudo. Every day after I got home from school that year I was immersed in Gran Turismo. I eventually got a PS2 and Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec and was amazed by the leap in graphics. For some reason, Gran Turismo 4 had been out for a while before I noticed it (I think my interests had shifted for a few years) and bought it for $20 as a greatest hits title. That was ONE INCREDIBLE GAME which I may have crippled my PS2 playing for hours and running the game for days at a time. It's THE worst DVD player I own now and won't play many discs that play just fine on other devices. Anyhow, I bought Gran Turismo 5 Prologue the day I bought my PS3 a few years ago, and I played the heck out of that on and offline for almost a year before exhausting its limited potential. GT PSP was a day-one buy for me - I had my PSP for a few months before that came out and even though I installed the data of course, the disc literally has not moved from my PSP yet. I made a special custom Gran Turismo case for my PSP which has been used almost exclusively for Gran Turismo. I think I rebooted the system 4 or 5 times and used it to show pictures once or twice, but for the most part whenever I slide that power switch up, Gran Turismo is already loaded and playing!

It's TIME FOR GT5!!! It's almost here and I get more excited every day :-)

I'm 30, bought GT5:P over 1,5 year ago and still playin' !

Even my wife sometimes takies AUDI TT for a spin - in game of course ;)

I often race with my friends, but "hot seat" not online. I've got MOMO racing wheel (want to buy Logitech GT same day i get GT5) and a racing seat -sportsitze - from my old car :)

Just 19, played the first GT in 1998/1999.

Then GT2 in 2001.

Then GT3 in 2002.

Then GT4 in 2006.

Then GT5: Prologue in 2009.

Then GTPSP in 2010.

Now GT5 in November 2010. :D

I am 29 years now and I play Gran Turismo since the beginning and played every GT game out there, except for GT4 prologue.
