How Old are you and how long you been playing GT?

I'm 13, and I've been playing GT all my life. My earliest memories were of screwing up on GT2 and trying to beat '80s Classic Cup on GT3.

I'm 15, and the first one I played was gt3, but i couldn't get the "stupid controls" I was everywhere on the track, because I was used to need for speed. I then played gt4 until I one day realized, "woah! I bet you have to brake for the corners!"

I got my ps3 and gt5p, and it's been serious ever since

I'm 25 years old. I first played GT1 at a friends house. I had Super Nintendo and Mario Kart at the time. I still love that game lol .

I bought a Playstation just to get GT2 which I played to death and hated that I could only have 1 or 200 cars in my garage. Got GT3 A spec and had my garage wiped a few times by some game bug. Got PS2 for GT4 and I played that until around 2008 when I got my PS3 with Prologue. Ever since I got my first taste of GT and driving my FTO Super Touring machine I was hooked on Sony's gaming hardware. I love my GT5 and look forward to racing you all online .

Ah....those license tests, qualifying, normal car race series,

By the way, my own semi-meaningless claim to fame is related

There might be a LOT less back and forth on this forum if adults were aware of what age posters they were responding to. And maybe vice versa!

One of the things I am starting to believe is that there is a fairly sharp divide in age between those that want the exploits, the duping, the nerfed up Seasonals and License Tests, all the 'shortcut' requests that PD seem to be responding to, and those that want the level of challenge that GT4 and many other racing games (and games in general) tend to put before you. Of course, it's not COMPLETELY cut and dried, but I have a sneaky feeling that there is a definite trend...

And, if PD are trolling us (God, I wish they were!) they might be able to put an accurate weighting on these feature 'suggestions' that would reflect the age range of who they WOULD like as their majority customers. There have been some decisions lately that definitely seem to steer GT5 down the path to being a 'children's game' and away from the more adult challenge it USED to be. Perhaps PD are ALSO mistaking children's requests for adult (or young adult) needs?

since then i have played the whole series but never fully completed gt2 and im working on gt4 since i started playing it again... oh and i dont have gt5 yet
