I'm 31 and been hooked from the beginning.

I was working in a music/gaming store when GT1 came out and SO many people were coming in and buying it, I just had to see what it was all about.

I've owned and completed every GT since (including the GT Concept Tokyo-Geneva, which often seems to be forgotten about), and managed to gold everything in GT4. This, despite having a Masters degree and 2 beautiful kids, I still consider one of my life's greatest achievements! Ha! (so sad) :D

@ Wonder_Pets - your post cracked me up dude! I likes me some pie also, but here in NZ we mostly fill our pies with dodgy meat & gravy... so pie ain't always good pie. It's pretty much a pie mine-field where every step could lead to catastophic tongue-burn or stomach-churn. However, I shall soldier on in the face of adversity.

32 since 97-98
Got it and a PS1 after playing it at a friends place, at the time NFS was blowing up while a few of us found this game that was more about driving experience then game racing excitement (fluff) people hated it because it forced them to learn how to use this odd feature called the "Brake" when racing games were mostly full throttle nonsense ( that the sheep loved) Each title brings us a step closer to the vision.

I'm 64, retired, and an avid sports car enthusiast. I was out drag-racing (street racing) a '67 Chevelle SS IRL back when it was new, so the GT games are a lot safer place to be. I started with GT3 and spent a lot of time playing GT4. When I grow up I'll stop playing video games, but I'm not sure when that'll be 'cause I already have 14 grandchildren!

One of my old neighbors has a '67 Super Sport I am trying to talk him out of. The 396 is long gone, but it still has it's original M21, and 3.73 12 bolt. I want that car so bad. It's a project but so is my dads '70 Super Sport, and my '71 Malibu. He's had the '70 since it was new. I wish he was easier on it. His came with an LS5, M22, and 3.31 12 bolt posi. Mine has a 350, M22, and 3.31 12 bolt posi. Eventually it will get an LS7, and I'm going to build the 12 bolt with 4.56's. That one will get turned into the drag car. There is nothing quite like being behind the wheel of something with a big block that's starting to come to life. 👍

Just turned 34, been playing since GT1. The GT series are the only games i've personally bought for my PS2/PS3. Other games received as gifts over the years but never get much attention :)

I'm currently 13, some people of my age would go play games like Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty and the like and be a total idiot by micspamming like there's no tomorrow.

When I was around 6-8 years old, I used to play GT3 and GT Concept on my elder cousin's PS2 that sadly short-circuited when a friend was borrowing it. Played GT4 in gaming cafe's a few years later. Then here I am borrowing a PS3 from the same elder cousin and procrastinating by playing GT5.

And oh, I'm also playing GT2 right now, but I can't be bothered completing it as of now.

33 year old here, japanese car fan, GT addicted and playing a LOT since GT1 - the japanese version before it was available in Europe!

Thank you PD!
For now, I'm just missing a playlist for saved replays :)

Greeting from Portugal

34 years old and have been playing for at least 11-12 years. I own almost every single GT game out there including the JPN and PAL versions. GT5 is the only game I didnt purchase with my own money. I didnt agree with the standard / premium part of the game so I refused to buy it. But later I received GT5 as a christmas present from my mother in law. Most disappointing game of the entire series IMO. Actually one of the most disappointing games ever after such a long wait.
