16, almost 17 and been playing since GT3 was new. Although, my dad played GT1/GT2 so over time and when I became very interested in the series I went back and played 1/2. Played seriously/ GTP comps since GT5. Now it's GT6 haha

30 and started at GT1. Haven't bought GT6 as I'm becoming a little disappointed with the series. Just learnt of how if we don't download our PAID FOR DLC and keep it permanently on our hard-drive we lose it forever.

A visit to the epic whining and crying thread is in order me thinks.

Good for you Ozirules12. I think that if we entered an over 72 race, it will just be the two of us. Good health to you my china and keep on racing. The only down side of old age is that the young chicks have long since given us a miss. I've tried Viagra and it just does'nt work. My doctor says that it is designed to cure the ill not raise the dead. Not my doctor anymore.[/quote]

Hi Joe , sorry I did not reply sooner , Apart from osteoarthritis in shoulders health good & still have a Ferrari parked in my garage , just don't get a chance to drive it LOL

I am 41 , and I must have been playing GT2 on a friends playstation. It could be GT1 also, but I would assume it is GT2.
I bought my first playstation in order to play GT4. Had a total of 3 games, GT4, SingStar and Dance Stage.
Bought PS3 in order to play GT5. Have three games, GT5, Shift and GT6.

Only one year behind you and @Joe Ferreira

Hm lemme think about...
started back with GT1 a few weeks after my birthday back in 1998 as a little boy, started gaming over all back than, cause my dad was like "wohow, son, look at this!".
Well yeah, got kinda infected and stucked to GT and racegames in general since that day... Remembering some days me and my dad kinda arguing whos turn it is to play... :D

Been grinding GT parts hardly until mid 2007, also some other racers inbetween, been about 2 years off racers, then entered to Trackmania (started at a LAN session with friends) for about 2 years (been on a very high level for some time) and got back in mid 2011 with GT5 - since I bought the PS3/GT5 bundle I got stucked again in the swamp of virtual simlike speed addiction in GT :D

I am 42. Been playing GT since first one come out on PS1. Think it was back in '99,but can't remember if I bought PS1 because of GT or did I come across after I got PS1.Bought PS2 when #3 was released :D But then , after beating #4 to the death and waiting on #5 I got tired of It .So I've skipped whole PS3/GT5 thing by playing FM2-4. After I heard GT6 is coming on PS3, I bought cheap used PS3 with dfgt and so far I am enjoying #6.

Now you have your PS3, you might want to revisit the "skip GT5" decision even though the servers will shut down soon.

I'm also a Forza escapee, and picked up a low cost GT5 XL edition just weeks before my GT6 was delivered. I've not regretted this purchase, since it provides experiences which are outside GT6's scope at present.

But do it before they shut the servers down so you get all the download goodies.

Well, this would be my birthday car:

1952 Abarth 1500 Biposto ...
when the math is done: 62 years young.

Started only 2 years ago with PS3 and GT5.
Still having lots of fun AND it is much safer (and cheaper) than real life racing :)
Counting GT5 and 6, I must have done some 3000 laps on the Nürburgring.

Years ago I was really into Codemasters Toca (Touring car) series, still have the games lying around..., not the cheap wheel I used to have (but still had a lot of fun with that thing)

I'm 17 years old and I have been playing GT since GT1... I got my PS1 in 2000 (Christmas gift :D), so 13 years now. Played every one of them, and just got GT6.

Well, it's been a year since I have posted in this thread.

I'm 31. Been playing Gran Turismo since I got my PS1 bundled with GT1 back in the late 90's as a Christmas gift. I was supposed to get a N64 and Goldeneye, but thank the gods my mom went for the cheaper console.

44 here too, got the PS2 for GT3 and then got GT4 when it arrived.
Yeah, ditto, pretty much. I'll be 46 this year. Started with GT3. Waited for the delayed release of GT4, the delayed release of GT PSP, then the delayed release for GT5 and now waiting for the rest of GT6.

Some people never learn.

I'm 43 years young and have been playing GT since day one having preordered GT1. Preordered every GT since then and likely will continue to so do as even with it's many flaws GT still provides me with the best driving experience. If only they could just get the (offline) racing experience right!

My first GT was GT4 Prolouqe^^ i got it when i was just 7 years old ..
I was since then fascinated by Racing.
now im 17 and nothing has changed.

I'm 25. Not sure if I ever played GT1 but I have some vivid memories of playing the Demo for GT2. Over and over and over. It was a revelation.

I'm 18 and have been playing since 1998 when my dad bought a PS1 and GT1, back then I didn't really have any idea what I was doing and could only win with an overpowered car on a simple track. I've played every GT installment so far, and it's probably the only game which I will always go back to. Only got a wheel just before GT6 was released and wish I had gotten one earlier.

I have now definitely entered my second childhood. I say f..k 'em all. I'm having an absolute ball.
 Best post I have read here in a looong time. Thanks for that. 👍
I'm "only" 43 myself but will (hopefully) be playing for many more years to come.

I do hope you got to play Goldeneye as well, because that was epic. :)
