How/when did you get your PSN GT-R code?

For those of you who downloaded GT PSP from the PSN store, how and when did you get your voucher code for the GT-R? I purchased and downloaded the game last night around 10pm PST but did not get a code. Does Sony e-mail it or direct message it to you, or did I miss something?

on my third email to customer support we will see what happens, thye told me to contact the person i bought if from which was them, getting the run around right now but we will see what happens
 
do tell how this works out. I bought mine from the PSN store and all I got was an invoice but the only code was my transaction number.
 
I also purchased from the PSN store downloaded to my PS3 and install to PSP from there. No code, no email with a code, no mention of a code.
 
Bought mine on the pstore from mediago application then installed on my psp, no mails so far :(
 
I guess I was lucky. I bought mine on my new PSPGO from the PSN yesterday around 6pm and the GTR downloaded with the game and was there from the start. I didn't even need to enter the code. It just happened. I had two other codes, both of which have not worked for me (though I think both were region locked for the EU, one was the mini-games code for the Merc McLaren SLR).

Ok, I called, selected option 3 then 5 (PSN account support) and zeroed out. I waited on hold 15 mins, then got a rep who said she was on the PS3 side, not PSP. She transferred me, then same hold music and another 15 minute wait. :/

Still on hold.
 
What about us euros? damnit :P Nothing on their twitterfeed.
 
Alright, seems the way to do it is to select option 3 (PSP) and zero out immediately. I finally got a PSP-specific rep on the line and explained the situation. There was some confusion on his part about what exactly I was supposed to be receiving after purchasing the game on PSN. We eventually got it all figured out, he gave me a service code, and said that someone would be contacting me within 3-5 days.

Sadly it was not good news but its not bad news either. I spoke with a rep from that number that was posted earlier in this thread by Taffey. They took my phone number name email and psn id and they said they would get back to me. They are aware that the car is supposed to be included but they are unaware of people having issues getting there code.

What they told me is that the download from psn should have had 2 files. Sounds a little iffy to me since everyone else got codes.

They did say that my case is getting passed on to the psn people (since this is more a console related line) and that they will get back to me. They seem convinced that I should have gotten 2 files after purchasing it. It might be a technical issue since they seemed to expect psn customers to automatically get it without the need for a code.

I hope someone else has good news.
 
When I purchased GT PSP, it came a long as a second item to download. It was the GTR Keyfile unlock. You should have gotten it there.

There is no redemption code for the GTR
 
I bought the voucher/download card from best buy, then entered the code on PSN from my ps3 and transferred it to my PSP Go from there. Im not sure, but am i entitled to recived the blue GTR?

Interesting. I thought for sure it would be a voucher code, similar to what they did for the preorder bonus cars for Burnout Paradise. In any case, thanks for the info. I checked my download list (again) but the file isn't there.

Still no word from Sony customer care, but it's only been one business day.

I have seen a screenshot floating around of the way it should have appeared on the download. It shouldn't be hard for an PSN admin to look at what is attached to your account and realise you didn't get it.

Yup same here. So frustrating... I also sent 2 emails to customer service. First one was a generic response with no info that helped and the second has yet to be answered.
 
Yay, got an e-mail from Sony with a "sorry for the inconvenience" and a voucher code. I entered the code, downloaded and installed the add-on file, and had a shiny new GT-R waiting for me when I fired up GT. Beautiful car, and it's a blast to drive. Just barely beat that NSX-R Prototype though... but that's another thread. ;)

Yes, Sony screwed up but they fixed the problem quickly, so I'm a happy camper. Hopefully the rest of you get your codes soon.
 
anyone notice that GT is not on the store anymore or is it just me? I hope it's not a case where i have to re download it after it gets put back up
 
I just bought the car, it was available after the day counter clocked a few days.

My 2 favorite cars, are 2 New cars (New to the GT4 Car list ;) )

GTR R35 Spec-V & Corvette ZR1
 
Anybody had any luck yet? They said they would get back to me and never have I love Sony products but they have the worst customer support:yuck:
