Not so lucky tonight. It was my first time joining you guys, and I kept having connection issues and then got pulled away at one point. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused. The races I did we're enjoyable.
 
Sorry I couldn't make it tonight doc, I had to go help my widowed mother in law. I'll be there next week if it kills me. Great pic of Sacha LMAO

Good Afternoon Racers, I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I'm updating Schedule, decided to change it a little and add some features based on what GT6 now has to offer. This post will update as I continue to work on it, but as of now, changes to OP and Schedule are:

NEW FOR GT6!

RACE LOBBY:
  • Races will be held in gtp-jaydoc Lobby. If you are not yet friends with this account, please send an FR.

VEHICLE SELECTION:
  • You may use a different vehicle each week as long as it conforms to the Event Restrictions, but you may only use one vehicle per night (no changing in between races).

TIME/WEATHER:
  • Whenever a track offers Time and Weather Variations, Time will be set to 17:00 with Time Progression at 2.
  • Weather will use 10% at Race Start, 1 Weather Changability, and 0% Surface Water.
  • Races that call for rain or a special time will have weather setting listed in it's Event Information.

EVENTS:
  • December 19th will be our last race on GT5, and RacingOtaku86 will be hosting this final event! This is a big milestone for HST and GT5, please come out, and have a great time.
  • December 26th: Track Day - GT6 Preview Night at Ascari. All vehicles are allowed, no restrictions.
  • January 2nd: 2013 Years End Party - A Top Gear Style Event. Come join us for a night of Fun as we complete in Challenges to determine which 2012/2013 car is the best GT6 has to offer. I encourage no doubles, but the choice is yours. Send me your car selection to be added to the drivers list!
  • January 9th and 16th - Classic Volkswagen Beetle Racing
  • January 23rd and 30th - "That Wasn't in GT5" - Track Days
  • February 6th and 13th - Pick-Ups, SUVs, and Crossovers - Track Days
  • February 20th and 27th - GT86 Variants - Track Days
  • March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th - Rags To Riches Rally - Race Event

I think it's the track I'm best at... So watch out. :P I've had a lot of practice from way back i the Golf RM race, and I came first in the M4 time trial in GT6... I'm failry confident. And apparently I'm feeling lysdexic. I'm T. Mayne on GT6. (I honestly have always wanted this name feature, but can be awkward if you care that people might know who you are online. :lol:

Wheel is clamped to the coffee table rite now. Peddles in the floor out in front of wheel. So I'm in a really awkward position for now.

I've thrown out the abs function in all my cars. With race brakes on SS tires I can brake at around 75M markers from 200 km/h and be fine. Regular brakes are pretty squishy. Have to brake around 125-175 at the same speed depending on the car. So we're both learning new tricks. 👍

I'd be up for a GP/D practice today. Snow day, doc appointment in an hour and a half.
 
If everyone that shows up has GT6 can we move? Im having a bit of trouble going back and forth especially forth. Is that wrong? I mean I know it's a milestone but I'm even slower on GT6 and need to focus on 1 game. Just askin :guilty:

I'd rather not move until next week. I've advertised it in the thread title as the last race in GT5, and have a preview week of GT6 scheduled for next week.

Alright glorious people, here's the scoop: the room we will racing in is HST_TrackDays, and race length will be about 10 laps around Nurb GP/D. Also, we're in GT5, not GT6, so don't forget that. Hope to see y'all there!

So, how did it go? I had a date with Mrs. Jaydoc tonight, we went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra. If you've never been and have the chance, I recommend it!!

Last night went great jay. Congrats to bionic on his two wins. And I somehow managed a win in the third race. Glad I was able to win one on our last night with gt5.

Otaku did a great job of hosting.
The last race was a free for all. Any car we wanted. Had a blast. Sorry you missed it.
