Spent part of this afternoon taking pictures from the Silverstone drift session and will post those later when we get to page 36 of the thread..I'll probably do another video of it and do it in one single capture so it can be more easily posted and shared. Chamonix and G Trail also.

The HST Lap Time Challenge!

The HST Lap time challenge is based on Top Gear's "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car."​

The Car: Honda Fit RS '10 (since everyone has one).
The Track: Silverstone - The Stowe Circuit.
The Challenge: 1 Lap, Standing Start, LIVE.

How to Enter:​

• Post in this thread or PM @jay*doc your desire to enter the HST Lap Time Challenge.
• Practice, Practice, Practice.
• Be present during the regular HST Track Day on Thursday night. During one of the intermissions, a Challenge Lap may be run.
• Only 1 Challenge Lap per week, and any racer may only try 1 time per month.

This will be an ongoing Staple of HST, so any racer who wants to try it will have a chance. Laps will be scheduled in the order they are received, and Racers who have not had a chance will be moved in front of those who have already had a try (to get as many names on the board).

Hello HST'ers! You know, this past thursday was simply awesome! Thank you all for attending. I know I had mentioned about taking a month off since our attendance has been down, but after this past event, only 1 thing comes to mind. Quality over Quantity! We have a really solid group of racers right now, not only good racers, but good people. And the format for race night is about as perfect as it can get, in my opinion. Just some good old racing, with time for goofing off and having fun.

HST will not be taking a break for April, I'll be updating the schedule soon with the next 3 months of events! If you have any suggestions or requests, please let me know, and I'll work it in.

On to Thursday Night! My God that was fun. The Eiger Short Track is one of my personal favorites, the combination of tight technical turns, hills and high speeds, all with good scenery makes for good racing! Here are some photos from the race:
