Not even with weight reductions, power limiters, and ballast being options? I do sorta see what you mean, though. I don't think every EV would necessarily be eligible, just most of them. So I could see the latter three cars being competitive, especially with PP limits. I also don't know if I'd count the Mission X since it's a concept. But I suppose on the other hand, even if we include every EV that isn't a VGT - nor the Volkswagen ID.R - that's not exactly a terribly diverse field, as it'd only feature the AFEELA, the Taycan and Mission X, the Model S and 3, and the BMW i3. Adding the Ioniq 5 N, that's just seven cars. The problem with an EV event is most of the EVs in the game are in completely unique performance tiers, and EVs seem to not have tuning options to compensate (like they do with, say, the GT-R events).
So you'd end up with a really weird event that had the Mission X, Ioniq, Afeela and i3 as opponents, none of which are competitive with each other.
Now that I think of this, I think it's far more likely that the Ioniq 5 N will be featured in the WTC 600, or maybe the Clubman Cup Plus.
